Ch - 24 : Chunin Exams : Forest of Death!! Bye Bye niichan!

"Soooo....." Naruto ran around. A square shaped rock followed him. Naruto ran to the other direction. The rock followed him there. Naruto abruptly stopped and so did the rock. The participants of Chūnin Exams were staring at the scene in confusion. "Is that supposed to be... a rock?" He asked the rock.

"Moreover, on top of the grass?" He raised an sceptical eyebrow. Naruto ran again with the rock running behind him. Genins were looking at the scene with quite amused and varied expressions. "Come on out buddy!" Naruto deadpanned.

"Just what I expect from the man I respect!" A voice echoes from the inside of the rock. "Good job on figuring it out!" And then there was a blast. Not a big one. Just a small one. A tiny blast.

"Hey! Too much gunpowder used!" Someone complained from inside the colourful clouds from the explosion. As soon as the cloud cleared up, 3 kids were in sight with everyone looking at them. They quickly got up in their pose they practiced for so long.

"With an adult sexiness!" The young girl of the group posed in a manner...?? That was supposed to seem sexy but it just looked hella weird. "I'm Moegi of the senior class at Kunoichi preschool!" Naruto shook his head. They need some new motto.

"I love factoring!" The boy wearing round glasses with a running nose introduced himself. "Udon!" Naruto facepalmed. Now was not the time for this intro. Whatever self respect he had was soon going to be destroyed by these kids.

"The most brilliant Ninja in the village!" Konohamaru posed like a macho man, grinning from ear to ear. "Konohamaru!" Naruto was banging his head on a rock. First his body feels so weak and...... And this damn migraine! The pain in his head was getting unbearable. It was throbbing so bad. And then here are the guys called -

"The three of us together are the Konohamaru gang." An explosion went behind them as they grinned. Looks like they improved on their presentation a little but their motto was still trash! "Here we are!"

You heard 'em! Konohamaru gang or Konohamaru squad or Konohamaru corps. Call them whatever you like, it doesn't really matter. You know, Naruto tried to ignore them but it looks like Konohamaru squad was on a mission to destroy his image in front of all elite genins from different nations. Some were laughing, some were whistling, some were whispering behind his backs. And not good things, he can tell you that. I can say goodbye to my image that I tried to create but wasn't able to. Hey, it's the emotion that matters. Sakura and Sasuke stood away from him not looking at him or interacting in general so that their reputation is not tarnished.

They must have noticed the square rock before him and quietly sneaked away. Bastards! They could have warned him but no! They were also in this because they were enjoying it way too much, their smirks can tell you that much.

"What's going on you guys?" Naruto asked them, rubbing his temples. His head was aching so much. "Hey, I'm about to take the
second exam for the Chunin Exam. I have no time to be playing around with you guys!" He briskly informed them.

"We're not here to play." Konohamaru earnestly protested. Moegi and Udon nodded behind him.

"That's right!" Moegi said excitedly. "We came here for an interview!" Naruto facepalmed. Yeah, he can skip this one. They can take all interviews they want. He just wants to rest. His pain was killing him.

There's something kind of creepy about this place. Naruto thought to himself as he looked at the forest around him. Green lush forest, full of flora and fauna surrounded the training ground called the Training Ground - 44 or which is better known as Forest of Death!
