Yo! Ready for the new chapter. Get ready. But first I would like to thank my readers. This happened because of them.
Now, my part starts. WOO-HOO.
"I'll explain everything to you all but first don't interfere. Naruto said as he choked on his last word. Tears of hate and anguish were rolling down. Like he was stopping his instincts who were screaming to help him. And thus no one stepped forward as Naruto's body was rolling around.
After a few minutes, it felt like a decade passed. The screams of Naruto were still clearly ringing in everyone's ears. The older Naruto felt like he might break any minute now. Like a whithered flower it felt like just a push was needed to break him. It was like he saw himself in the worst nightmare.
The younger Naruto was no good either. He looked so weak and fragile. His body pale, not showing any reactions. His body was numb and cold, especially his hands. His fingers were like frozen water. His breath felt warm on his hands. Sweat was rolling down his forehead. His heart was barely keeping up. He felt like several pores on his body opened and cold air was entering through them. His hands became sweaty. His breathing was ragged. It was almost funny that this child was The Child of Prophecy and would save the world.
The older Naruto crouched down to match the gaze of the younger Naruto. The younger Naruto looked at him angrily and pointed.
"Why?"
Huh. This draw the attention of all tailed beasts who looked at the small demon container. The older Naruto didn't bat an eyelash. He just looked straight in the eyes of his younger counterpart. Tears were streaming down his face.
"Why didn't you help me? I thought we are the same, aren't we? Then, why didn't you help me when I was in pain. You didn't let anyone else help me either. Tell ME." Naruto sobbed as he questioned. He glared deep into the eyes of his older counterpart and saw the emotions flashing through.
Sadness.
Pain.
Guilty.
Immediately, he caught it that something was wrong. But what? If the other Naruto was same as him then he would help him. Until and unless he was an emotional stuck-up bastard which he was pretty sure, he wasn't. So, what was going on?
In these moments, communication takes place through eyes instead of words. And Naruto understood that. It happened most of the time between him and Jiji. And even though Sasuke-teme was an emotional prick, they shared their pain through their eyes. The same way they made plan to stop Zabuza and free Kakashi-sensei. Through their eyes.
Wait.
Eyes?
That's it.
That is what was happening. That is what felt wrong. The thing that he felt odd. Knowingly, or unknowingly it did occur to him. His eyes. The eyes of his future counterpart striked odd. Why, you may ask. That's because- Damn it. Now he felt that he sounded like his classmate Shino.
