The sun streamed through the windows of the common room, casting a soft glow on the sleepy faces of students making their way to breakfast. Y/N strolled in, feeling a sense of contentment she hadn't felt in a while. As she headed toward the kitchen, she caught Mina's gaze. The pink-haired girl's eyes immediately sparkled with mischief.

"Ohhh, look who's here!" Mina practically sang, bouncing off the couch and rushing over to Y/N. "How's it going, girlfriend? I noticed a certain someone wasn't in his room this morning," she teased with a wink.

Y/N felt her cheeks warm, though she tried to keep her cool. "Morning, Mina," she said, grabbing a mug and filling it with coffee. "And yes, I was with Bakugou," she added with a smirk, knowing Mina wouldn't let it go unless she got some kind of confirmation.

"Ah-ha! So, you guys really are serious," Mina said, folding her arms and giving Y/N an approving look. "I mean, not that I'm surprised. He's been way less grouchy since you two got together—well, at least around you," she added with a laugh.

Y/N rolled her eyes playfully, sipping her coffee. "Yeah, I guess he has been a little softer," she admitted, a fond smile tugging at her lips as she thought about Bakugou. "But don't go around telling him that. He'd be pissed if anyone knew he was going soft."

Mina giggled, clearly delighted by the gossip. "Oh, don't worry, my lips are sealed... mostly," she said, giving Y/N a conspiratorial wink. "So, how's it been? You know, being Bakugou's girlfriend and all?"

Y/N leaned against the counter, considering her response. "It's been... different," she confessed. "Good different, though. He's surprisingly thoughtful when no one's looking." Her mind wandered back to the night before, and the way he'd held her close, the gentleness in his touch contrasting with his usual rough demeanor.

"See? I knew there was a big softie hiding under all that yelling!" Mina exclaimed, nudging Y/N's arm. "So, what's the plan today? Are you guys hanging out later?"

Before Y/N could answer, the common room door swung open, and in walked Bakugou, his usual scowl in place. But as soon as his eyes landed on Y/N, a subtle change came over him—a softness in his gaze that wasn't there for anyone else.

"Hey, Katsuki," Y/N greeted, her voice gentle.

He grunted in response, heading straight for the coffee machine. "Morning," he muttered, though the way his hand brushed against Y/N's as he reached for his cup didn't go unnoticed by Mina.

"Oh my god, you two are disgustingly cute," Mina chimed in, earning a glare from Bakugou.

"Shut it, Raccoon Eyes," he growled, though his tone lacked its usual bite. "Ain't my fault I'm stuck with her clingy friends," he added, shooting a playful smirk at Y/N.

"Right, because I'm the clingy one," Y/N teased, leaning closer to Bakugou.

Mina watched them with a grin, hands on her hips. "I swear, I've never seen you smile so much, Bakugou. It's kind of freaking me out. But in a good way."

Bakugou's scowl deepened, though the corners of his lips twitched as if he was fighting back a smile. "Tch, whatever. I don't know what you're talking about." He glanced at Y/N again, his gaze softening briefly before turning back to his coffee.

Y/N felt a flutter in her chest, the small gestures and looks between them speaking volumes. It had only been a couple of weeks since they'd made their relationship official, but the shift was undeniable. Bakugou had a way of showing he cared—small acts, like making sure she got enough rest or pulling her away from studying too hard—that spoke louder than any grand declaration could.

"Anyway," Mina said, breaking the moment, "when are we getting the full story? You two didn't exactly give us the details about how this happened."

Y/N shrugged, glancing up at Bakugou, who was now leaning against the counter with his arms crossed, pretending not to listen. "It kind of just... happened," she said, a fond smile on her lips. "We just realized there was something more there, and... well, here we are."

Bakugou huffed, his expression somewhere between irritated and amused. "You all don't need to know every damn detail," he grumbled. "Just know she's mine, and that's all there is to it."

Mina grinned at the possessiveness in his tone, clearly loving every second of this. "Alright, alright. I'll stop prying... for now," she said with a wink. "But you'd better believe I'll be keeping an eye on you two lovebirds."

As Mina bounced back over to the couch, Y/N glanced up at Bakugou, her heart swelling at the thought of how far they'd come in such a short time. She reached up, giving his hand a small squeeze. "You okay?" she asked softly.

Bakugou looked down at her, his expression softening in a way that was reserved just for her. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said, his voice low. "Just... don't let them get in your head, alright?"

"Wouldn't dream of it," Y/N replied, giving him a reassuring smile. "Besides, I'm too busy focusing on you."

Bakugou's lips curled into a rare, genuine smile, and he squeezed her hand back. "Good," he murmured. "Keep it that way."
