The aftermath of the Nomu attack had left the U.A. campus buzzing with tension. Teachers gathered in the staff room, discussing the implications of the attack and how to protect their students better.
"We need to tighten security," Eraser Head insisted, leaning back in his chair, his expression grim. "If they're bold enough to attack U.A. directly, we can't take any chances."
"We also need to talk about Y/N," Midnight added, concern etched across her face. "Her connection to the League of Villains could put her at risk."
"Exactly," Aizawa agreed, crossing his arms. "We need to ensure she understands the danger she's putting herself in."
Meanwhile, Y/N sat alone in the corner of the courtyard, her heart heavy with the weight of her feelings. She replayed the argument with Bakugou in her mind, each word cutting deeper than the last. The way he had looked at her, the disappointment and anger etched into his features—it made her stomach churn.
"He's just like him," she muttered to herself, remembering her toxic ex and how he had always dismissed her feelings. "Just like my past."
"Y/N!" Bakugou's voice broke through her thoughts as he stormed into the courtyard, his face flushed with frustration. "Where the hell have you been? We need to talk."
Y/N looked up, her heart racing. "I don't want to talk to you right now, Bakugou."
"Of course you don't," he snapped, taking a step closer. "You think you can just run away from this?"
"I'm not running away! I just need some space!" she shot back, her emotions boiling over. "You don't get it!"
"Then explain it to me!" Bakugou demanded, his temper flaring. "You're acting like a damn child! You can't just keep putting yourself in danger and expect me to sit back and watch!"
"Maybe I wouldn't have to if you weren't acting like my ex!" Y/N exclaimed, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes. "You're just like him—selfish and controlling!"
The words hung in the air, heavy with hurt and accusation. Bakugou froze, his expression shifting from anger to shock, the weight of her words hitting him like a punch to the gut.
"What did you just say?" he whispered, the intensity of his gaze piercing through her defenses.
"I said you're just like him!" she shouted, the pain in her chest spilling over. "You don't listen! You just want to tell me what to do!"
"I'm trying to protect you!" he shot back, but Y/N could see the guilt flash across his face.
"Protect me? Or control me?" she challenged, her voice trembling. "You don't get to decide what's best for me!"
Bakugou opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. Instead, the silence stretched between them, heavy with unresolved emotions.
Y/N felt her heart race, the anger and hurt swirling inside her. "I can't do this right now!" she cried, turning on her heel and sprinting away, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"Y/N, wait!" Bakugou called after her, desperation creeping into his voice. But she didn't stop. She couldn't face him any longer.
As she ran through the streets, Y/N's thoughts spiraled. She felt trapped in a cycle of pain and confusion, and the world around her blurred with her tears.
Minutes later, she found herself in a quieter part of town, her breath coming in ragged gasps. She leaned against a lamppost, trying to steady herself, but her heart ached with a deep sadness that felt insurmountable.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. She looked up, her heart racing again, but her relief turned to fear as a shadow loomed over her.
"Hey there, pretty lady," a man said, his voice slurred and rough. "Lost, are we?"
