"Indeed." That's all I can say. I was acting cool, keeping it together. Sooner or later he might draw a sword out of somewhere and point it at me or something like that.

I am mentally preparing myself for the upcoming war but to my surprise, the scary God just smiled at me as if he was fond of me or something like that.

"What's your problem?!" my brows furrowed as I whisper-shouted. But the devil just chuckled as if I'm making a joke.

Huh? what's with him?

"This is interesting. Just like what Susanoo said." His gaze were like teasing me. Scanning me from my toe to my head. Looking at my form. My naked body.

"So you met your brother." I commented.

"Of course! we met looong time ago." He hummed as he relaxed.

This guy is indeed Susanoo's brother. They are both annoying.

"What do you need? why do you came here?! don't fucking hurt my master or else-"

"Or else what?!" that seems like a growl. "You see Naruto, you are currently useless. You are weak. What can you do?"

And that made sense.

I'm currently weak.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm here as Hinata's cousin."

"You are lying."

"What answer are you expecting, brat?"

"Damn. Just say that you're here to avenge what happened to your sister!" there I snapped.

Because I always knew, that Kaguya's brothers will all come after me, and might kill me. We've been in bad terms in the past, so damn bad terms, so I wont be surprised if they go here and choke me as I am currently powerless.

But I was surprised that Susanoo didn't do so. He didn't kill me nor hurt my master, although he was around her. He will be around her. And I don't know what to do next.

I had enough thinking about Susanoo, and now here comes the bigger problem. A devil.

"So you were expecting the expected." A smile with evident sadness. "I am the God of death. Whenever someone dies, I look after them, and send them to afterlife . . . just imagine the pain I felt, while watching my only sister, my beloved sister. Watching her die because of a certain someone's stupidity. I wanted to oppose the rules I made and just send her back to the human realm but I cannot. She dies. And I am a useless God for not being able to save my beloved."

That shut me off.

I can only imagine how much a seemingly heartless God like him grieve for the death of his beloved. I got hurt, Susanoo got hurt, and surely he got hurt too as he treated Kaguya his treasure.

"I . . . I'm really sor-"

"However Naruto." He gazed at me. As his eyes lit up sending a contagious hope within me. "That time . . . as I was crying, holding my beloved sister. I was about to send her to the afterlife and let her soul get completely perish from this world. A God appeared. A damn God appeared into my kingdom. Just imagine, who is this thick-faced God? and where did he get the audacity to go to my realm- to the realm of deaths."

His words got me leaning infront, putting both my wrists above my folded knees. I was intently listening to everything he will say. With hope. That he might . . . he might give me a good news.

"That God commanded me to hand him my beloved sister. Yeah . . . with all the boastfulness. His tears were running down his face that time, he is bloody as hell. He is dying for fuke's sake but he was there standing before me with his usual annoying aura."

"Out of nowhere, and I don't know how it happened, the God of reincarnation then appeared before me that time. And they showed me a seal, Naruto. Or perhaps I could call it an agreement."

"And you know what it says?"

"What?"

"It says, that the Boastful annoying God is sacrificing all of his power, his previlidge as a God, and everything he have, just to give my sister a chance to live another life."

"And why did the God of reincarnation agrees to it? i-it's impossible!" I stood up. He might bd joking! "don't give me fake hope, jerk!"

"You are the jerk one. Dumbass. Stupid."

He stood up and walks towards me. He levels my height. Stood infront of me, face-to-face. He was gazing onto my eyes.

And there I saw, his pale eyes weren't lying at all.

"I had no idea that the said deal could be made, you know. I also thought it is impossible. But the stupid God never seizes to impress me. Despite the pride, he knelt infront of the God of reincarnation. Gave everything he got including his life as a God. He even said that it's fine if he disappears from this world aslong as he see my sister alive before he dies. His love saved my sister. To be honest I don't know what happened between the God of reincarnation and him, I don't know what more he did so he could convince him. But the thing I know is, he made it."

What the . . .

"H-how . . ."

"And now, that the God is facing the consequences. Along with the punishments. He wasn't a God anymore. Nor does he have the power. He wasn't able to talk to his parents. He suffered a lot."

I was dumbfounded.

My Godfather never mentioned this!

"Your Godfather didn't know this, nor does your parents or the other Gods. It's just me, my brothers, and the God of reincarnation himself."

"Damn."

"Naruto. My stupid brother didn't told you huh?" he smiled at me, but this time it is a genuine smile with gratefulness in it.

"So I will have the honor to tell you . . . that the God who saved my sister is you."

"Your love for her gave her another chance to live."
