Mona POV-
Night time-

I'm waiting for Adrian as it is already 11:00 pm but he didn't come nor did he pick up my call.
Ohh godd.... Where is he?

Suddenly someone entered from the main door, I immediately looked up only to find Adrian there
Thank god!!!! He came

"Adrian" I called him only to pull him in warm and sweet hug

But he didn't hug back, I looked at his face for response but he didn't say anything, his face is looking so pale like he cried for hours, his eyes are damn red

What happened to him?

"Adrian, are you alright? "
I cupped his face in my hands

He nodded simply and hugged me immediately, I caressed his back gently

After that, he started going upstairs

"Dinner" I shouted

"I don't have an appetite"
He replied with a low broken voice and went upstairs

Is he alright? What happened to him?
Why is he behaving like this?

I served our dinner in one plate and went to our room
He was sitting shirtless on the couch while thinking something

"Here is your order sir
Please have it" I said

No response

"Adrian, did I do something to make you angry? " I asked

He nodded negatively

"Then what happened to my baby? "
I asked

I sat beside him and caressed his hair

"What happen? " I asked again

And that's it, he broke in tears, godd!!!! What's wrong with him?
He started crying while hiding his face in my neck
I thought not to ask him about the matter right now, it's better if he tell me himself
I caressed his back and hair to calm him

"It's alright, you can cry freely
I'm with you, blurt out your sorrow while crying, I'll not judge you"
I said soothing words in his ears

"I'm n-not cap-pable of anyt-hhing"
He said while Hiccuping

"Who said this??
My sweetie pie is capable of everything"
I replied

Godd... It's breaking my heart
Who did this to him?

"Let's have dinner first then we'll talk, okay? " I asked

He nodded
I wiped his tears and passed him a glass of water
He drank it like an obedient child

Finally, I made him eat dinner somehow and now, he is in the balcony and I went down stairs to put the plate

I went towards him and said

"Let's sleep"

He looked at me and grabbed me like I'm the only thing he wants

"Don't leave me ever" He whispered

"Never, my sweet husband" I replied

"Let's sleep" He said

I nodded

We lay together on our bed but none of us said or ask anything
I didn't want to trouble him by putting questions again and again
And he was already so stressed so he just laid down

I started caressing his hair

"I love you" I said

"I love you too" He replied

He got up and looked at me

"What happen? " I asked

"Kiss me" This time he didn't asked me but I feel like he is commanding me to kiss him

Without any further argue, I kissed him immediately and like always, just after starting he took the lead

Making me breathless

"Good night, wifey" He said before drifting into his Dreamland
