It was a stormy night, the wind howling through the cracks of your window. You lay in bed, scrolling through your phone, trying to shake off the uneasy feeling that had settled over you. Felix had said he'd come by later, but it was already past midnight, and you hadn't heard from him in hours.
Just as you were about to doze off, you heard a faint knock at the door. Groggy, you ignored it, thinking it was just the wind. But the knock came again—louder this time.
"Felix?" you called out, but there was no response.
You hesitated before getting up. As you approached the door, you felt a sudden chill. Something didn't feel right. You unlocked it and peeked outside. Felix stood there, soaking wet, but there was something strange about him—his eyes, usually warm and familiar, seemed darker.
"Are you okay?" you asked, stepping back instinctively.
He didn't answer. Instead, he stepped inside, water dripping from his clothes, his gaze locked on you. You felt a creeping dread, but before you could ask anything else, he suddenly moved toward you with unnatural speed, grabbing your arm.
"Felix, stop!" you cried, trying to pull away, but his grip was cold and unyielding. He smiled, but it wasn't the smile you knew. It was something else. Something...wrong.
His voice, when he spoke, was barely above a whisper, but it chilled you to the bone.
"I'm not Felix."
