Night had fully fallen over the beach, casting everything in a deep indigo glow. The once vibrant sunset had faded, leaving behind a sky filled with twinkling stars, their reflection shimmering on the dark, calm waters. The air was cooler now, but still pleasant, carrying the salty scent of the sea.

Felix was still holding your hand as you both strolled along the beach, the sand cool beneath your feet. The moon hung high, casting a soft silver light across the landscape, illuminating the water and creating a serene, almost magical atmosphere. You could hear the distant laughter of the Minions and the soft strumming of Emo Jesus's guitar, but here, it felt like you and Felix were in your own little world.

"Night makes everything feel different," Felix mused, his voice soft and thoughtful as you both stopped near the water's edge. The waves lapped gently at your feet, the cold sensation a contrast to the warmth of Felix's hand in yours. "It's like... everything slows down, and the world gets quieter."

You smiled, leaning into him as you gazed up at the starry sky. "Yeah, it's peaceful. After everything we've been through, it's kind of nice to just... be here."

Felix wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer as you both stood there in the moonlight, listening to the soft crashing of the waves. He looked down at you, a gentle smile on his lips, his eyes reflecting the pale light of the moon. "I'm glad we have moments like this. Even if everything else feels like chaos, being with you makes it all feel okay."

Your heart fluttered at his words, and you felt that same warmth from earlier rise in your chest. You leaned your head against his shoulder, enjoying the quiet moment between the two of you. "I feel the same way. I don't know what I'd do without you."

He chuckled softly, the sound vibrating through his chest as you leaned against him. "Probably fight off all the chaos just fine," he teased, his tone light. "But I'm glad I get to be part of it with you."

As you both stood there in the moonlit serenity, Felix's hand gently brushed your cheek, his touch warm and familiar. He tilted your face up toward his, his gaze soft and full of affection. "You're amazing, you know that?"

Before you could respond, he leaned down and kissed you, slow and gentle, his lips warm against yours in the cool night air. The kiss was tender, full of the unspoken bond you'd built over time, the kind of kiss that made everything else disappear. For a moment, it was just you and him, the world fading into the background.

But of course, the peaceful moment couldn't last forever.

From behind you, a familiar voice broke the silence—this time more exasperated than before.

"Really?" Neuvillette's voice rang out through the quiet night, cutting through the gentle ambiance like a knife. "Again, right here? At night?"

You both pulled away, turning to see Neuvillette standing a few feet behind you, his arms crossed over his chest, his expression a mix of mild frustration and amusement. His long coat fluttered slightly in the breeze, and the moonlight made his eyes seem to glow with an ethereal quality.

"I thought we agreed to keep the romance less public?" Neuvillette raised an eyebrow, though you could tell from the slight smirk tugging at his lips that he wasn't entirely serious. "Some of us are trying to enjoy a quiet night."

Felix chuckled, running a hand through his hair, clearly not embarrassed by the interruption. "What can I say? The moment just felt right."

Neuvillette sighed dramatically, but there was no real annoyance behind it. "Fine, fine. Just... try to keep it down. We don't need another concert from Emo Jesus about the tragedy of love."

As if on cue, from further down the beach, you heard the faint strumming of Emo Jesus's guitar, his voice floating over the waves. "Love is a curse, a bittersweet chain..." he sang softly, clearly lost in his own melodramatic performance.

You and Felix both burst into laughter, the sound carrying over the waves as Neuvillette shook his head, turning back toward the group. "I'll leave you to your... moment," he said, with one last exasperated look, before walking away, his coat billowing behind him.

Felix wrapped his arm around you again, still chuckling. "We really know how to pick our moments, huh?"

You smiled, leaning into him as you both turned back toward the ocean. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

The night stretched out before you, peaceful and full of stars, as you and Felix stood together by the water, content in each other's presence, even with all the interruptions. The chaos of earlier seemed like a distant memory now, and all that mattered was the quiet, shared moments between you and him, under the moonlit sky.
