As evening rolled around, the team decided to head out for dinner. After a laid-back day at the house, it felt like the perfect opportunity to unwind even more. You all headed to a nearby restaurant that Felix found, a cozy spot by the ocean, with outdoor seating where you could feel the salty breeze.
The group took their seats around a large table. Freddy Fazbear and Daddy Hello Kitty Batman sat next to each other, already eyeing the drink menu. Neuvillette, seated more towards the end of the table, looked his usual composed self, though his earlier comments suggested he might just be ready to let loose a little.
Dinner started off pleasant and calm, with everyone ordering food and chatting about nothing in particular. But as the evening went on, Freddy and Daddy Hello Kitty Batman started ordering drinks, and things slowly began to spiral.
It started with Freddy's metallic voice booming over the music playing softly in the background. "I'll take another round!" he called out to the waiter, slamming his glass down with a little too much force. His robotic parts made the sound echo, drawing some stares from other diners.
Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, his cheeks slightly flushed from his own drink, leaned in conspiratorially toward Freddy. "You know... you and I... we make a great team. The ultimate dynamic duo. Forget about Batman and Robin, it's all about us." He raised his glass in an exaggerated toast.
Freddy, already tipsy, raised his glass in response, but his paw accidentally hit the edge of his drink, spilling it over the table. "Oops! That's... uh, not supposed to happen."
Toe Pedeos groaned, shaking his head as he dabbed the spilled drink with a napkin. "Here we go..."
Meanwhile, Neuvillette, who had ordered what he thought was a mild glass of wine, sat quietly observing the chaos, a hint of amusement in his usually stoic expression. He was about halfway through his glass when he began to feel... different. He blinked, looking down at the wine with a slight frown. "This is... stronger than anticipated," he muttered under his breath.
You exchanged a glance with Felix, both of you stifling a laugh as you watched Neuvillette slowly lose his composure. He wasn't drunk, but for someone as dignified as him, even the slightest tipsiness was noticeable. He leaned back in his chair, his normally perfect posture slackening slightly, and his usually crisp, refined voice had softened.
Freddy, still laughing with Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, looked over at Neuvillette, his robotic voice echoing. "Hey, Neuvillette! You're looking a little... relaxed over there. What's in that fancy wine of yours?"
Neuvillette raised an eyebrow, attempting to maintain his usual cool demeanor, but his slight sway gave him away. "It's... just wine. Hardly anything to be concerned about." He gave a small, almost uncharacteristic chuckle, which caught the whole table by surprise.
Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, clearly tipsy himself, leaned forward, eyes wide. "Did he just laugh? No way! Neuvillette, my man, you're one of us now!"
Freddy joined in, clinking his glass to Neuvillette's despite the distance between them. "Yeah, welcome to the party, Neuvillette!"
Even Emo Jesus, who had been coolly sipping his drink and rolling his eyes at the antics, couldn't help but smirk. "Looks like you're not so high and mighty after all, Neuvillette. Maybe you've got a little bit of fun in you."
Neuvillette, clearly fighting to maintain his composure, set his glass down carefully. "I assure you, I'm as refined as ever. Unlike some of us at this table," he said, casting a glance at Freddy, who was now trying to balance a breadstick on his nose.
Felix laughed at that, nudging you. "Did you ever think we'd see this? Neuvillette actually loosening up?"
You chuckled, shaking your head. "Never in a million years."
The night continued with the team ordering more food and drinks, the conversation growing louder and more ridiculous as Freddy and Daddy Hello Kitty Batman continued their drunken antics. Freddy tried to tell a joke but forgot the punchline halfway through, while Daddy Hello Kitty Batman insisted on performing "bat-stunts" that involved him doing a clumsy handstand on the edge of the table, much to the waiter's horror.
Neuvillette, despite being a little tipsy, remained the voice of reason—albeit a more relaxed, slightly amused one. "Perhaps we should reconsider these... acrobatics in a public setting," he said, his words slower than usual, but his tone still carrying that dignified air.
Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, however, waved him off. "Come on, Neuvillette! Live a little!"
As the night wore on, the group's laughter echoed across the outdoor seating area. You leaned against Felix, feeling content and happy despite the madness surrounding you. Felix placed a soft kiss on your forehead, his arm wrapped around your shoulders as the night continued, the two of you enjoying the silly spectacle.
Eventually, after several rounds of drinks and a few near-miss stunts from Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, the team decided it was time to head back to the house. Freddy and Daddy Hello Kitty Batman were still buzzing with energy, while Neuvillette, who had sobered up slightly, walked with a little more caution than usual, though there was a faint smile lingering on his lips.
"Well," Neuvillette said as you all made your way back, "tonight was... unexpectedly entertaining."
Freddy clapped him on the back, almost knocking him over. "That's the spirit!"
