Glowing Close Of Day

As the morning light began to rise over the beach, the team gathered their things and made their way back to the rest of the group. The air was still cool, but there was a sense of anticipation hanging between you all—though you had defeated JYP once, something told you that the battle wasn't over yet.

Felix held your hand as you walked along the shore, your fingers intertwined in a silent promise of comfort and affection. Neuvillette followed a few paces behind, his expression unreadable, but he couldn't help but cast glances at you and Felix, clearly envious of the connection you shared. Still, the night had gone well, and despite the strange beach encounter with Shrek, everyone seemed a little more at ease.

When you arrived back at your makeshift camp near the cliffs, Daddy Hello Kitty Batman was already up, stretching out and preparing for the day's action. He spotted you and Felix coming, then broke into a grin.

"Well, look who finally decided to roll out of bed!" Batman said, giving you a playful smirk. "Enjoy your romantic little beach nap, lovebirds?"

Before you could answer, Batman added, "Don't worry, I'm not jealous or anything. Romance is for people who don't wear utility belts!" He gave a cheesy wink, then proceeded to crack a few jokes. "Did you hear about the bat who couldn't find love? He was bat-chelor for life!" He laughed at his own joke, clearly proud of the pun, though it earned groans from some of the team.

Felix rolled his eyes but couldn't help but chuckle. "You know, Batman, I don't think comedy is your calling."

Batman shrugged dramatically. "Hey, everyone needs a side gig, and who's better suited for bad jokes than the Dark Knight?" He shot finger guns at you and Felix, earning another groan from Neuvillette.

"All right, all right, we need to focus," Neuvillette interrupted, sounding a little more annoyed than usual. "JYP may have disappeared last night, but I have a feeling he's not gone for good. We need to be prepared for anything."

Just as he said that, a strange rumbling sound echoed in the distance. Everyone paused, exchanging uneasy glances.

"What was that?" you asked, scanning the horizon.

Felix's grip on your hand tightened, and his expression turned serious. "It sounds like it's coming from over there." He pointed toward the distant cliffs.

Without hesitation, the group moved quickly, following the sound until you arrived at a clearing near the base of the cliffs. There, in the shadows, a familiar figure stood—JYP, grinning wickedly, his eyes glowing with an eerie light.

"I told you I'd return!" JYP cackled, his voice echoing off the rocks. "Did you really think you could defeat me so easily?"

Felix stepped forward, his body tense. "You're done, JYP. We're not letting you terrorize anyone anymore."

"Oh, am I?" JYP sneered, summoning dark energy around him. "We'll see about that."

Suddenly, a fight broke out. Felix, Neuvillette, and Batman all jumped into action, attacking JYP from all sides. You and the others backed up to give them room, watching as the battle unfolded in a flurry of light and dark energy. Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, ever the dramatic one, threw in some bad jokes as he dodged JYP's attacks.

"What do you call a hero who doesn't use their powers?" Batman shouted mid-fight, ducking under a blast of dark energy. "A super-zero!" He laughed, and even though it was ridiculous, it lightened the mood just enough.

Felix unleashed a powerful attack, knocking JYP back, and with Neuvillette's help, they finally cornered him. JYP let out a dramatic, over-the-top scream as he was hit by the final blow.

"This isn't the end! I'll be baaaack!" JYP wailed as his form began to dissolve into thin air, vanishing with a final, exaggerated flare of energy.

When the dust settled, the beach was quiet once more, and the group stood victorious. Felix exhaled, dropping his shoulders in relief, and turned to you with a smile.

"Well, that was one way to wake up," he said, pulling you into a tight hug.

You laughed softly, leaning into his embrace. "Looks like we're not done with crazy mornings just yet."

Neuvillette, brushing sand off his jacket, gave a small smile, despite himself. "At least this time, it wasn't nearly as messy as the last encounter."

Daddy Hello Kitty Batman struck a victorious pose, hands on his hips. "And don't forget who brought the best jokes of the day!"

"Yeah, yeah, Batman, you were a hit," Felix teased, giving him a thumbs up. "Let's just hope we don't need your comedy routine in the next battle."

With JYP finally defeated, the group gathered back together, preparing for a much-needed day of rest and celebration. Despite the chaos of the morning, there was a sense of accomplishment among the team, and a feeling that—at least for now—the danger had passed.

As the sun began to rise higher in the sky, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the wild, unpredictable journey you were on with Felix and your friends by your side.
