As you and Felix stood watching the sunset, Felix squeezed your hand and smiled, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know," he began, "we were talking about a team name before. Now that we have Duolingo, I think we should be called... Darkness Retribution."
You looked at him, eyebrows raised in surprise. "Darkness Retribution?" you repeated, feeling the weight of the name.
Felix nodded confidently. "Yeah, think about it. We've got this weird, chaotic mix of heroes, an animatronic bear, a sassy emo Jesus, Neuvillette, and now a persistent owl teaching us Spanish. It sounds intense, but it fits our style—random, yet kind of epic."
Before you could respond, Freddy Fazbear and Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, who had overheard, immediately chimed in. "Darkness Retribution?" Freddy said, considering it. "I kind of like it. Sounds badass."
Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, still proudly holding onto his Hello Kitty balloon, gave an approving nod. "It's got a nice ring to it. Definitely something I can see on a t-shirt."
Emo Jesus, reclining on a nearby lounge chair, snorted. "It's melodramatic and a little dark, which I can appreciate. Fine by me."
Neuvillette, with his usual air of elegance, pondered for a moment. "Darkness Retribution... a name with weight, a sense of justice, yet a hint of mystery. Yes, I can see it fitting our motley crew."
Duolingo, ever enthusiastic, flew over and perched on a nearby table. "I love it! Darkness Retribution—strong, formidable, with just a hint of educational persistence," the owl chirped proudly.
You and Felix exchanged a glance, both of you grinning. "Well, if everyone's on board, then I guess it's official," Felix said, looking around at the team. "From now on, we're Darkness Retribution!"
A round of cheers and approving nods rippled through the group, solidifying the decision. Freddy raised his sandwich in a toast, Daddy Hello Kitty Batman struck a dramatic pose with his balloon, and Emo Jesus offered a mock salute.
And with that, Darkness Retribution was born—a bizarre, wonderful, and undeniably unique team.
