The day was calm and easygoing at the new house. The team had settled in nicely after the night's events, and for once, there wasn't a crisis hanging over anyone's heads. The sunlight streamed through the windows, casting warm glows on the walls. Freddy Fazbear was in the kitchen, trying to figure out how to use the coffee machine without short-circuiting himself. Daddy Hello Kitty Batman sat on the porch, reading a comic book, his pink bow catching the breeze. Emo Jesus sprawled dramatically across the couch, his hair falling perfectly, as always, as he stared at the ceiling, probably contemplating the meaning of existence.
You and Felix, however, were in your own little world. Sitting together on the sofa, Felix had one arm wrapped around you, and you leaned into him, enjoying the peace and quiet. The others could tell you two were clearly smitten—whispering to each other, exchanging glances, and occasionally sharing soft laughs as if no one else was in the room.
Toe Pedeos, never one for subtlety, finally broke the silence. "Are you two going to stop acting like the stars of a romance novel any time soon?" he asked, smirking.
Freddy, now holding a steaming mug of coffee, leaned against the doorway with an amused look. "Yeah, seriously. It's like we're in a chick flick with you two over there. It's cute, but come on."
Felix laughed, squeezing you a little closer. "What? We're just happy."
Before anyone else could comment, Neuvillette, who had been reading quietly at the table, suddenly closed his book with a decisive thud. "Happy, yes," he said, raising his head. "But if we have to watch the two of you exchange one more stolen glance or whispered sweet nothings, I might consider locking myself in my room indefinitely."
The room erupted into laughter, even Emo Jesus cracked a smile, though he tried to hide it. Daddy Hello Kitty Batman chuckled from outside and shouted, "I think Neuvillette just roasted you both. I knew he had it in him!"
Freddy grinned, raising his coffee cup. "To Neuvillette, for speaking what we're all thinking!"
Felix shook his head, laughing along with the others. "Alright, alright. We'll tone it down—at least until later."
You rolled your eyes playfully at the group. "You're all just jealous."
Neuvillette, ever the picture of refinement, smirked slightly. "Hardly. But I must admit, watching you both is...entertaining, in its own way. Like observing an over-the-top romantic opera."
That comment got another round of laughs from everyone. Even Felix couldn't hold back his amusement. "Wow, Neuvillette. That was harsh."
"It's out of love," Emo Jesus deadpanned from the couch, still staring at the ceiling as if the conversation barely held his attention. "He's just not used to seeing so much affection in one place. It overwhelms him."
Neuvillette chuckled softly. "Precisely. I'd much rather spend my time in the quiet of my room than be exposed to your... enthusiasm."
The teasing continued for a while, but it was all in good fun. Eventually, the banter died down, and the house settled into a relaxed rhythm again. Freddy Fazbear sat down with his coffee, Daddy Hello Kitty Batman came inside with his comic book, and the day drifted by peacefully. You and Felix, although still close, toned down the romance just enough to avoid further roasting—though you couldn't help but exchange a few secret smiles here and there.
As the afternoon wore on, the team lounged around, enjoying the calm after everything they'd been through. It was one of those rare, perfect days where nothing urgent needed to be done, and everyone could just take it easy.
