A Interrupted Sleep

The night settled in once more, the team gathered in the cozy living room of the beach house. After a long day, you all decided to watch a movie together to relax. The group sprawled out on the couches and floor, Freddy Fazbear snacking on popcorn with his mechanical paws, Daddy Hello Kitty Batman lounging in his cape and pink bow, and Toe Pedeos perched awkwardly on the arm of a chair. Emo Jesus, ever dramatic, reclined with a bored expression, as though everything around him was beneath him.

The movie started, but it wasn't long before Neuvillette began to feel increasingly out of place. The film was an overly cheesy rom-com, complete with exaggerated drama and cringeworthy humor. Neuvillette's aristocratic sensibilities were clearly offended; each overly emotional scene made him squirm in his seat, and every ridiculous joke had him visibly grimacing. He tried to hold it together, but as the movie reached its peak cringe moment—a tearful, slow-motion confession of love—he stood up abruptly.

"I believe I've had enough of this... atrocity," Neuvillette muttered, his voice tight as he gracefully excused himself from the room.

Freddy Fazbear glanced over with a mouthful of popcorn, his robotic eyes blinking. "What's wrong? It's just getting to the good part!"

Neuvillette gave Freddy an unreadable look before shaking his head. "No part of this can be considered 'good.' I'll be retiring for the night."

Emo Jesus rolled his eyes dramatically from his spot on the couch. "Oh please, Neuvillette. It's just a movie. You should try cringing with style."

Neuvillette, clearly done with the evening, simply gave a polite nod to the rest of the group and made his way down the hallway toward his room, determined to escape the chaos. His room was, unfortunately for him, located directly next to the one you and Felix were sharing.

Meanwhile, the rest of the group continued watching the movie. Daddy Hello Kitty Batman couldn't help but interject with his bad jokes during the film, making Toe Pedeos groan every few minutes. Freddy Fazbear seemed thoroughly entertained, while Emo Jesus maintained his typical, sassy commentary, throwing shade at the most absurd moments.

After the movie ended, everyone said their goodnights. You and Felix made your way back to your room, and soon, the house grew quiet.

Later that night, Felix wrapped his arms around you as you both lay in bed, the moonlight streaming through the window casting a soft glow over the room. You whispered sweet nothings to each other, basking in the closeness and comfort of the moment. Felix's warm presence next to you felt peaceful, and as he gently kissed you, you couldn't help but feel a wave of happiness wash over you.

Unbeknownst to you, in the room next door, Neuvillette was trying to get some sleep. He had barely closed his eyes when he heard soft noises coming through the wall—barely audible at first, but unmistakable. It was the sound of whispering, followed by...kissing.

Neuvillette's eyes snapped open, and for a moment, he lay still, hoping it was just his imagination. But no, the sounds persisted. His refined sense of propriety was immediately rattled. Sitting up in bed, he sighed heavily, his patience wearing thin.

"Of course," he muttered under his breath, running a hand through his silvery hair. "I should have expected this."

He tried to ignore it, turning over in bed, but the sounds of your quiet affection with Felix continued. With every soft whisper or kiss, Neuvillette's exasperation grew. Finally, he grabbed a pillow and pressed it over his ears, hoping to block out the noise.

"This is absolutely intolerable," he grumbled, staring at the ceiling, wide awake. "Some of us are trying to sleep..."

Meanwhile, in your room, completely unaware of Neuvillette's discomfort, you and Felix were wrapped up in each other, exchanging gentle kisses and enjoying the quiet intimacy of the night. Felix's hand traced soft patterns on your arm, and you rested your head on his chest, feeling utterly content.

The next morning, the team gathered once again, but this time, it wasn't to watch a movie or deal with any immediate threat. It was a rare, peaceful morning where everyone was just enjoying each other's company. Neuvillette looked a bit more composed than the night before, though his eyes darted between you and Felix every so often, as if still recovering from what he had heard the previous night.

Emo Jesus, always quick with his sass, smirked knowingly. "Sleep well, Neuvillette? Or were the noises from next door a little too much for your delicate sensibilities?"

Neuvillette's expression didn't falter, but he raised an eyebrow. "I would appreciate a bit more... discretion in the future."

Felix chuckled, giving you a playful wink. "We'll try to keep it down next time."

Daddy Hello Kitty Batman, never one to miss an opportunity for a joke, chimed in. "Why don't you just sleep in the Batcave next time, Neuvillette? Less noise, more justice."

Toe Pedeos just shook his head, and Freddy Fazbear snorted with laughter, but Neuvillette, ever the refined gentleman, merely sighed.

And so, the day began, with the group slowly realizing that despite all the crazy events they'd faced, they were finally able to relax and enjoy each other's company—even if some, like Neuvillette, had to endure a little more than others.
