As the last echo of Demon JYP's haunting words faded, you and your team stood in the eerie stillness of the chamber, processing the intense battle that had just unfolded. The energy in the room was strange—heavy, but relieved—like the air after a thunderstorm. Though the threat of JYP had temporarily receded, you couldn't shake the feeling that something else was lurking.
Felix turned to the group, his voice steady but tired. "We need to head back. Rest and regroup before anything else happens."
You all nodded in agreement, weary from the battle. Together, you made your way out of the chaotic chamber and back through the winding corridors. Freddy took the lead, his sensors scanning the path ahead, while Neuvillette walked in thoughtful silence beside you, keeping a watchful eye on your surroundings.
When you finally reached the room where you had first gathered, a strange sight greeted you.
The door had been forced open, and faint yellow light spilled out from within. You exchanged uneasy glances before cautiously stepping inside. What you saw made your jaw drop.
The once-safe room had been completely overrun by an unexpected invasion.
In the center of the room stood none other than Gru—the tall, bald man in his signature striped scarf, arms crossed and a self-satisfied grin on his face. Surrounding him were his legion of Minions, the little yellow creatures babbling in their strange language, moving around the room like they owned the place.
"What... is this?" Felix asked, his voice laced with disbelief.
Gru turned slowly to face your group, his grin widening as he saw you all standing there, bewildered. "Ah, you've returned," he said in his thick accent, his tone smug. "Perfect timing. I've taken over your little hideout, you see. It's part of my... grand plan."
The Minions, seemingly emboldened by Gru's presence, began chanting in their high-pitched voices, jumping around and waving tiny banners that read things like "GRU CULT" and "MINIONS RULE." They clambered over furniture, turned tables upside down, and even started stacking themselves on top of one another, forming strange, wobbly towers.
Emo Jesus blinked, his guitar hanging limply by his side. "What... what even is this?"
Freddy's eyes narrowed. "Is this some kind of joke?"
Gru chuckled darkly, gesturing to his Minion followers. "Oh, no joke. You see, while you were busy with your little JYP problem, I was busy building my Minion Cult. And now, this room... and everything in it... belongs to me."
Daddy Hello Kitty Batman stepped forward, his cape fluttering as he surveyed the bizarre scene. "Minion Cult? Really? What kind of villain are you?"
Gru's eyes twinkled with mischief. "The kind that always gets what he wants. And right now, what I want is complete control. These little guys worship me, and soon... the world will, too!"
Neuvillette, his expression calm but stern, crossed his arms. "This is madness. You cannot simply invade and claim what is not yours."
Gru's grin never faltered. "Oh, but I already have. My Minions are everywhere. And they will do anything for me."
As if to prove his point, the Minions let out a collective cheer and began dancing wildly around the room, some knocking over chairs while others drew bizarre symbols on the walls, apparently trying to imitate the cult rituals they had seen on TV.
You stepped forward, unable to hold back your frustration. "We don't have time for this, Gru. We've just dealt with Demon JYP, and now you've trashed our safe space!"
Gru shrugged. "Not my problem. You'll just have to deal with it, like I deal with my Minions."
Felix clenched his fists. "We don't have time for your games. Leave. Now."
Gru raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed by Felix's threat. "Or what? You'll fight me? My Minions outnumber you, my friend. It wouldn't be a wise choice."
Toe-pedeos, scuttling around nervously, piped up, "Uh, guys, I don't think we're ready for another fight right now..."
Freddy's mechanical voice cut through the noise. "I can handle Minions."
But before any more threats could be exchanged, a sudden high-pitched squeal filled the air. One of the Minions had accidentally set off some kind of device, and the room was suddenly filled with flashing lights and obnoxious party music.
"Oops!" the Minion squealed, giggling as the others joined in, dancing and throwing confetti everywhere.
Gru sighed dramatically. "Minions... never serious when I need them to be." He shot an annoyed glance at the chaos they were causing.
You couldn't help but feel that this situation had gone from bizarre to downright absurd. Demon JYP's chaos was one thing—but this? This was a completely different kind of madness.
Neuvillette looked over at you, his calm demeanor barely hiding his exasperation. "It seems we must deal with this new... complication before we can rest."
Felix groaned, running a hand through his hair. "I can't believe we're doing this."
As the Minions continued their chaotic antics and Gru watched with an amused smirk, you knew this was far from over. You'd defeated Demon JYP, but now you had a new—and very different—battle on your hands.
It was time to figure out how to deal with Gru and his Minion Cult... before things spiraled even further out of control.
