They headed up to the top and through the cave entrance. They stepped out into the light, and their surroundings became fully visible. They stood at the top of a tall precipice, and green trees and gasses grew around them on the small clearing. Below them at the bottom of the cliff, a small forest was spread out in front of them. There was a small path to their right that led down from the cliff. They moved closer to the cliff to get a better view of the surroundings. It was a beautiful sunny day, and they could see what felt like the entire world. It appeared to be mid-morning, which Jordan noted was a pretty good time for them to get here.

"Whoa! This place looks...beautiful, actually." Olivia turned back to Jordan and asked, "So this land is...what did you call it?"

"The land of Hyrule. We are actually closer to the center of the continent right now. Doesn't it look so pretty?"

"I guess it does look cool." Amber agreed before seeing something far in the distance that made her eyes go wide, "But what about that volcano way over there? It's exploding! Are we going to get hurt?" She pointed several miles into the distance where a huge volcano, easily the tallest natural formation throughout the land stood, towering over its surroundings. The volcano was spewing ash into the sky, but Jordan knew that they would be fine.

"No, you don't have to worry about it exploding." Jordan reassured her, "It's active right now, but it won't fully erupt, as far as I know. It will only have effects on the Eldin region.

"Eldin region?" came Leenie's voice.

"It's the lava region where the volcano is, right?" Will told them, looking at Jordan for confirmation. Jordan nodded in conformation.

"Uh...what about that big castle? What is that pink and black stuff surrounding it? Is it a monster?" Olivia asked, pointing down at the Castle at the end of a large plain several kilometers directly ahead of them, but much closer than the volcano behind it. There was a veil of sickening black and pinkish energy surrounding the castle.

"Keep that question on hold, I have to explain the history of Hyrule." Jordan said, already looking down the path off to the side that would lead them down into the surrounding lands.

"How much history is there?" Amber asked with genuine interest. Now that she was here watching the green world around them, she seemed to be calming down quite nicely, her anxiety slowly dissipating.

"There's actually quite a lot. It's important, and it's probably a good idea if I explain it to you so that you can get some context on the world itself. But first, let's find a place to relax for a little while. Kind of like a home base. How does that sound?" Everyone agreed, but Jordan was worried about his companions. Their postures had relaxed slightly, but they seemed somewhat on edge still, and he wanted to warn them about what they might see.

"Okay, now I want you to be prepared. Our home base is going to be down this hill, and to the right." he said as they all followed his gaze down the path

"Oh! Do you mean that fireplace down there?" Olivia asked, pointing down the slope where a simple pile of wood sat under a small overhanging rock formation.

"No, there is not enough space there. I'm taking us off the path before that." he told them as he started marching down the hill and they followed along. "You guys will get your first look at some monsters."

"Monsters?! What do they look like?!" Amber said, the anxiety creeping back into her voice. He hesitated, trying to give a description for the creatures known as bokoblins.

"Uh...if I had to describe them simply....they are pig-humans."

"Pig-humans?" Olivia repeated quizzically. Jordan shrugged again, unable to describe a better image of the monsters. "You'll see. Just follow me."
