Soon enough, they crossed a small wooden bridge over the river and made it to the nearby establishment that sat just next to the base of the mountain, which Jordan explained was called a Stable. There was one main circular tent-like structure with sturdy wooden walls and roof decking. The interior of the circular tent could comfortably fit five single beds, a few tables and stools, and the stablemaster's counter. There were two entrances to the tent which the stablemaster's counter sat between and extended into the inside of the tent.

Outside the tent was a cooking pot on a fire, boxes filled with supplies as well as a small fenced-in pasture for some domesticated animals to graze. Hylians littered the place. Some were merchants looking to sell their wares, some were simple travelers and adventurers, and some were custodians of the stable or locals who lived there. From the Stable, the route turned north along the base of the Dueling Peaks towards a cluster of tall hills in the distance. Behind the stable to the east, the grand and grassy Blatchery Plain stretched out ahead of them.

There was also another sheikah shrine that sat directly next to the base of the mountain, across the north-running route from the Stable. With all the completed shrines that they were passing, Jordan couldn't help but think that Link was really working to collect Spirit Orbs and get stronger, which was a good thing considering he appeared to be on a quest to save Hyrule as of right now. He wondered where Link was now, and he hoped that he could find him someday. Then he got out of his head and focused on what was in front of him.

He asked everyone to give him all the stuff they had collected so that he could sell it. Jordan figured they would hang on to all of the edible plants which they could turn into food, but anything else, such as gems or monster parts, he was planning to sell. After everyone gave him the things they found, they went to sit inside the tent and rest their feet. In the meantime, Jordan walked over to a giant backpack that sat just outside one of the open-air entrances to the tent that almost concealed a small man with a large face, and a mind to bargain.

"Hello? Is that who I think it is? Beedle?" he walked up to the man sitting on the dirt.

"Yes! Hello! It is me, Beedle, the traveling merchant!" The man's voice had a higher octave, but that could have just been because he was excited. When he didn't recognize Jordan's face, he hesitated. "Er...do I know you?"

"I am afraid we have not made the acquaintance." Jordan responded kindly, "My name is Jordan, and I am a traveling swordsman."

"Well, Jordan, it is very nice to meet you! It would also explain your ragged clothes. Did you come to buy my wares?" Jordan had forgotten just how unsightly his old clothes looked, but he didn't miss a word when he responded to the peppy merchant. Beedle was known across Hyrule for being an indefatigable merchant, known for his overly large rucksack that was filled to the brim with goods and/or money and always friendly face as he traveled across the land. Jordan knew that Beedle would be happy to barter.

"Precisely. I was told that your wares were the best across Hyrule. Unfortunately, I am a little short on rupees at the moment. You see, my friends and I were attacked by monsters, and we lost what little money we had, so I was hoping that I could sell you some of my wares in order to buy yours. Would that be alright?" He decided to fib a little, just to get on the merchant's conscience a little bit.

"Of course!" Beedle responded happily, lowering the makeshift bartering table that he had built into his rucksack, "I love to see what others have to offer! What do you have?"

After what felt like an hour of bartering back and forth, Jordan was able to sell almost everything the group had found, including the ores of precious gems from the Talus, to Beedle in return for some money. At the end of the bargaining, which took a good 30 minutes, Jordan was able to glean almost 4,000 rupees from Beedle, even after he had bought out his entire stock of arrows, which had cost an unsightly 120 rupees.
