"You are sure that you will be alright?" Link asked as they stood inside the living room.
"Yeah, I'll be alright." Jordan responded, patting his leg, which he had already wrapped in cloth bandages. "It shouldn't be too bad. Anyhow, good luck out in Hebra."
"I have some warm clothing and the fire weapons, I am prepared. Hopefully I will see you once again." he said before he reached for his sheikah slate.
Link popped open his map, found his destination, and off he went. Splitting into hundreds of tiny strands that flew off towards the Woodland Tower. Jordan had cleaned up the wound, but his nerves were frayed and he was wincing the whole time. Though he had played it off like it wasn't a big deal, the wound was a little worse than he would have liked. He couldn't necessarily stop all of the bleeding, but he wrapped his thigh up tight with the cloth. He was sure that there wasn't any damage to the muscle and that it was basically just a surface cut. Bokobins were terrible fighters, and he was very thankful for that. Later on, he was sitting around talking to Ronny and Will.
"Hey guys, what if we made a training arena? Like so we can fight and you guys can train your powers?" Ronny asked
"Yeah that would be cool!" Will jumped in jubilantly. "But where would we build it? We can't really go down to the woods because the new stable is being built there."
"Wait what? The stable got approved?!" Jordan asked, his head darting back and forth.
"Oh yeah we forgot to tell you about that. Tass, or whatever that guy's name is, showed up with a whole bunch of construction dudes to tell Mayla she got the job. I think they are still building it and the guy is telling Mayla and Emily about their jobs."
"Anyways, do we have any other ideas for where we could make the area?" Ronny asked.
"What about the beach? That might be a good space." Will suggested.
"I'd say yeah, but..." Jordan hesitated, "Well, Leenie has kind of been using the beach as her get-away-from-everyone space. Haven't you noticed how distant she has gotten from everybody since she got their powers?"
"Nope." Ronny admitted point-blank.
"Oh yeah...Is there anywhere else we can use?" Will pivoted.
"Maybe there is some space up on Mount Ebon we could use? I'm pretty sure there is some flat land on the slope on the west side. Let's go check it out."
So they went to see if there was any flat area around the west side of the mountain. They did manage to find some flat grassy area just off the path that led to the top of the mountain. They decided it would be a good spot, as the locals wouldn't see them using their powers, and they could train without being interrupted. Once they chose the spot, they went about gathering materials to make dummies and targets. They had made a few by the end of the day, but it still needed some work.
They got back home exhausted and everyone shared what had happened that day. Olivia was starting to make a small machine out of sheikah parts that Jordan and Purah had supplied her. It seemed like she could understand the ancient tech pretty well, and she was putting together small gadgets. Purah was teaching her as much as she could, and Olivia was keeping up with all of it. She was very proud of herself for her achievements. Purah had also given her permission to skip a day in a few days to go back to the Great Plateau.
Mayla and Emily were very excited for their new jobs, though they were not the more gracious of occupations. The large group of builders had finished the Stable and they had to be at their posts the next morning at 8AM. Tass was very jubilant as he gave the news of approval, and had given them their instructions before hastening back to his own Stable.
