"Whoa! Now that I see that extended inventory thing up close it actually looks pretty cool!" Maria said as she watched Jordan pull out his bow sitting directly behind him on his horse.

"It is really helpful." Jordan agreed, knocking an arrow on the drawstring cautiously.

They soon encountered a couple of bokoblins as they approached the Dueling Peaks. Nobody seemed too concerned about them, and Matt seemed eager to fight them. He charged right in with his sword, but then seemed to hit a mental roadblock as he hesitated for a second. He swung his sword, but not as enthusiastically as he could have. Jordan noticed it right away, and pulled his bow out of his back from his seat on Tito and shot down all the bokoblins before Matt had a chance to make himself look bad. Jordan realized that his shots were much cleaner than they usually were, but that was a thought for another time. They continued on the path.

"What happened there Matt?" he asked as his new friend stared off into space as they continued walking. Matt seemed to be having some trouble with himself, and his eyebrows were scrunched together in confusion.

"I dunno Jordan, it was so weird. I went in, and I was ready to attack but then I hesitated for some reason."

"Don't worry about killing monsters. They will kill you if they have the chance, and they respawn during the blood moon, so you might as well." Jordan told him reassuringly. Matt continued to stare for a moment before looking up at him.

"...I suppose that makes me feel better...but playing the video game version makes everything so much easier. I didn't realize how hard some things would be."

"Yeah well, none of us did. You just have to learn and adjust." Jordan shrugged.

"I guess..."

They quickly got wrapped up in a conversation that Oscar and Owen were getting into about their favorite video games. Jordan's mind wandered away from the conversation as they traveled. He began thinking about the future. He wondered about how many humans would be brought to Hyrule, and all of the challenges that it would create. They would need more housing, more resources, and more ideas. But now, Jordan wasn't alone. He had a core of Zelda veterans: Him, Matt, Oscar, Owen, and Ronny. The group was familiar with the world, and they made up a third of the humans in Hyrule now.

But what did they really need at this point? Jordan started making mental lists in his head to keep his thoughts straight. Some things that they didn't have right now that they would need were things like housing, or knowledge. Then he started thinking about things he could fix or create for the future.

There was the site of Tarry Town in the Akkala region to the north, which hadn't even been started yet because Hudson needed to stay here and work on their second house. Jordan figured that after they finished that, they could send him north to start Tarry Town. Then, once that had been completed, some of the humans could go live there. But what if Tarry Town was too far away? Sure, Hyrule was relatively small compared to some places, but the path to get there from Hateno wouldn't be a leisurely walk in the park, the monsters that roamed the routes would make things a lot harder.

Jordan tried to think of other places that humans could live. Kakariko? No, that was too small, and it was a Sheikah-only population anyways. Lurelin? Jordan would say sure, but it was extremely rural and was hard to get to from anywhere that wasn't Hateno. Plus, the only occupations there would be monster hunter or fisherman. Besides him and William, he figured only Leenie and Amber would want to live there. There weren't many other places he could think of. Anything past the Great Plateau to the west was too far. The hot and volcanic Eldin region was too dangerous. Where could they possibly put people?
