Hello everyone! I just wanted to start this with some context before you get into the book.
I should mention that I originally wrote this first book (as well as the second, The Shadows of Light) before Tears of the Kingdom was released, and so any similarities are coincidences. However, the third and fourth book in this series (yes, this is a tetralogy) I wrote after TOTK was released, and so those two books are based on that game within the same timeline. But I don't want to overwhelm you with info, this first book is the beginning of what I hope is an enjoyable and interesting story for you.
Unlike some other Zelda fanfictions, this story centers less on Link and Princess Zelda since it is also an isekai with my own original characters that I created, and explores all kinds of themes and abstract ideas.
I really hope you enjoy this story, I've done my best to turn these crazy ideas in my head into something you all can appreciate!
