He and Will ate their late lunch, and while Jordan was chowing down on some fried rice, Olivia asked a question that sparked something in his head.

"Jordan, who lives at the house at the top of that hill?" she pointed up at the very top of the hill to the east that created the border between Hateno and the ocean past it. There was one large lone house that stood atop the peak, and there was even a separate path that went up to it that split off the path that would bring them down to the beach.

"Hmm? Oh, that's the Hateno Tech lab. There are two people who live up there, and they are both sheikah researchers. There is Symin, and he is the assistant to a...a girl named Purah. Symin is probably in his 60's, and Purah is at least 120 years old, but she certainly does not look her age."

"What do you mean? How can somebody be a girl and be a hundred and twenty years old?" Olivia inquired, still gazing up at the tech lab.

"Apparently she did an experiment one day and she was exposed to something, and it made her age backwards. So she looks like a little girl, but she's actually super old. I don't know any specifics, but I know that. However, now that you mention it, I've got an idea."

She looked over at him curiously and nodded her head to continue.

"It's sort of a big idea, but it could definitely work. Since you dislike fighting stuff, you need something to do during the day and to contribute to us. You are also extremely smart and creative and I think there's a possibility of an opening. What if you went to work with Purah at the tech lab?"

"Wait what?" she scrambled, blinking rapidly as she tried to work out the idea in her head, "I mean, I don't know...what kind of things would I have to do? I like the idea of working with technology, but I'm a little hesitant. And how do you know she would accept me?

"I don't know what you would do, but it might entail working with robotics, and you could definitely handle it. If we showed them our sheikah slate, and told them our story, they would probably accept our cooperation."

"Do you really think so? Would they believe us?" she said skeptically.

"Yes. The sheikah slate is enough proof, and if we have to show them something, we can show them something on the slate." he reasoned.

"I suppose...do you think I could do it though?" she said, seemingly starting to like the taste of what she was chewing on.

"Yes. I think first you would do research and read books about history and the Sheikah. Then you might move onto more technical stuff. Putting ancient parts together to create stuff, I don't know. But you could do it." he told her confidently, which she seemed to take in stride.

"I like this idea of becoming some kind of engineer, but if we do this then that means that we would be exposing ourselves to Hyruleans. Now that you've painted a picture, it sounds like a fascinating opportunity. Let's go do it." she said with the confidence that he was happy to see was finally returning to her here in Hyrule.

"Great, because I am going to do that tomorrow anyways. When you were sleeping on that rock in Kakariko and Hylia spoke to me, she said 'the one you seek will be at the high Cape in 3 days' time'. I think I know where she was talking about, because I'm pretty sure it meant that the hero Link will be at Cape Cales tomorrow, which is that giant cliff to the south that sticks out into the ocean. So I was gonna do it anyway after I hopefully find Link." he explained. Olivia nodded.

"It would probably be better if we introduced ourselves today then." Olivia reasoned, "If I'm gonna do it, I want to get to work as soon as possible."

So it was. After lunch was over, Jordan and Olivia hiked up the hill to the Tech Lab, and knocked on the door. Jordan heard "Come in!" from a very high voice, and so he opened the doors and walked in. Both Purah and Symin looked up when they realized their guest wasn't Link, and their body language gave a guarded atmosphere as they stepped through the threshold into the lab.
