That night, everybody learned of this little excursion that they had planned. They were going to go tomorrow morning and would make it quick. Once they got the fire weapon, Link would teleport Jordan home, and then teleport himself to the Woodland Tower. Olivia wanted to go with them, but neither of them wanted to put her in harm's way, so they refused to bring her along. She put up some resistance, but they finally convinced her otherwise. Nobody else really cared that much because they would only be gone for a little while. Lynn's body language showed that she was a bit concerned, but nobody but Jordan seemed to notice. Leenie wasn't even present at dinner. It seemed like ever since they had gained powers, they stayed away from everybody except for Amber.

Jordan was anxious to go to sleep, partially because of his plans the next day, but also because he couldn't wait to see what sort of powers he would gain. Lucky for him, that night it was easy for him to fall into the realm of endless time. When he awoke the next morning, he was full of energy.

It was mid morning when he got up, and so there were already a few people awake and Olivia had already gone off to the Lab. Link was already waiting for him at the cooking pot outside. Jordan pulled his weapons out of his inventory and strapped them to his back. He felt like a cool ninja whenever he did that.

"Are you ready to go?" Link asked.

Jordan nodded and he pulled the Sheikah slate off his waist and held it out toward Jordan. He put two fingers on the device as Link pressed a couple buttons and they both teleported away.

Jordan thought he would be prepared for his second time fast traveling, but as soon as he disintegrated, he knew he wasn't. The awkward sensation filled him for a second before his consciousness was broken. Then all of a sudden he was standing on top of the great Plateau Tower and Link was already putting the slate away.

"Yeesh, how do you do that all the time? Isn't it disorienting?" Jordan asked.

"You will get used to it after a while."

They jumped on their paragliders and flew down to the route that was just north of the Plateau. Instead of heading for the coliseum, Jordan instead guided them along the route to the Outskirt Stable, which sat just north of the Plateau and just west of the coliseum. Link was surprised there were hylians located so close to the Plateau. The Hero decided that would first complete the Shrine they found located near the stable. Jordan was willing to hang around until he was finished, and so it was. Jordan bought some arrows and started talking to the merchants. He didn't even have time to start getting deeper into conversation before Link came back and they were off again.

As they were moving, Jordan felt his hands getting wet. He looked to the sky, but once he realized it was a clear sunny day, he looked down at his hands. They were dripping water, almost like his digits were leaky water spouts. His eyes focused on the water and he started concentrating on the water, as if to control it. When he held out his hand, the water formed itself into a square. Then a triangle. Then a circle. Then he tried making it form a ninja star. Sure enough, that's what happened. He gasped, and Link turned around to see what it was. He also gasped when he saw, and immediately demanded an explanation.

Jordan realized he had forgotten to tell him about the trigger dreams and the powers. He tried, but it took a little while for Link to fully grasp this weird concept. He spent a lot of time explaining the concepts to Link, but it was the best he could do.

"Do humans usually gain powers?" Link asked.

"No, and that's what makes it so weird. This phenomenon is completely undocumented, even on our Earth, where it feels like there is data for everything." Jordan told him, still gazing at his own hands in curiosity.
