Jordan and Olivia explained what was happening in Hyrule, how things worked, and what they did. It took a while, but the newbies started to calm down. Once they learned that there were other people here – though they weren't technically human – and that things were actually more familiar than they seemed, they were much more accepting of the world around them.

They passed the Dueling Peaks stable as the newbies relearned how to take a deep breath and relax. As they headed into Eastern Necluda where Hateno resided, Mayla, Emily and Drew became more relaxed, but Lynn started getting more and more worried. Olivia also showed them the Sheikah slate, but they weren't as impressed because they had been using iPhones less than 24 hours ago. They did seem to understand it's worth though, so that was a good thing.

They finally made it back to Hateno after what felt like hundreds of questions and millions of steps to Jordan. They showed everyone around town, and they seemed to like the place. It was almost lunchtime, so they went to eat. They found Amber, Leenie, and Will all around the communal cooking pot that sat just outside the Inn, which had become a sort of meeting place for them. Mayla almost tackled Amber in a hug, and another round of introductions ensued as she and the Jarrins' met the five new humans for the first time.

After they had a lunch of mushroom stew (Lynn groaned and griped about the meal) they appeared much more energetic. Too energetic, perhaps. Jordan hadn't told them, but he had added rushrooms to the stew, and they were starting to experience the effects of heightened physical speed, and they began to wonder what was going on. As they stood up and walked around, wondering why they were moving so fast, Jordan and the others made eye contact with each other and they all burst out laughing at the newbies' expense.

It was only then that Jordan explained what he had done to the food. The newbies weren't angry so much as happy at the fact that they knew what was going on instead. As they were finishing up, Leenie tapped Jordan on the shoulder and asked to talk to him, but suddenly, Bolson had appeared before them.

"Good to see you, Jordan. I'd just like you to know that your home is finally finished! We can take the walk up the steps to your new house whenever you are ready!"

"What?! You really finished it today?!" Jordan gasped in surprise. He knew that Bolson wasn't a lair, but he hadn't fully expected their home to be done exactly when the carpenter had said it would be. The carpenter beamed at him.

"I told you it'd be ready, didn't I?" he waved his arm down the road, gesturing for them to come with him, "Come see for yourself!"

They followed Bolson down the main road and down the side road towards the bridge over the pond. Instead of going over the bridge, the businessman showed them up a flight of sturdy wooden steps that had been planted into the stone face so that the staircase jutted out of the rocky wall. The new path would give them easier access to the town, allowing them to come directly down from the tall cliff, instead of walking all the way around to the other side of the plateau where it met the path on the top of the hill that led down to the village.

They got up to the spot and walked inside the large house, which sat a few meters from the sides of the cliff on flat ground. Out of safety, the doors to the house had been put on the sides facing in towards the center of the plateau. It was just like Jordan had asked for, and the furniture had already been put in. There was a couch made of wood and wooly cushions, a wooden dining table that could fit at least seven people, and chairs.

The house was exactly how Jordan had envisioned it. The house was rectangular, and at one end sat a cooking pot that was essentially their kitchen, as well as the dining table. Near the dining table was a small half staircase that led up to a raised walkway that accessed the four individual bedrooms that were all in line along the walkway. The bedrooms took up half of the remaining space inside the house, with the final portion opposite the bedrooms being a sort of living room space where the couch and several other chairs sat. There was even a small workbench in the corner.
