He knew he had found his target, and that she wasn't doing very well. He ran as hard as he could, crashing through the bushes to the scene. As he got closer he heard crying and a thump. It made his blood freeze, but he kept running. He made it to the clearing, and saw a horrific scene. Lynn was on the ground, and there was blood all over her, but he couldn't tell where it was coming from. There were two blue bokoblins jumping in victory over their catch.
Jordan pulled out his sword and quickly killed the monsters without hesitation, and then ran to help Lynn, kneeling by her side. She was bleeding a lot and crying loudly, and didn't seem to notice Jordan was there. Jordan crouched down next to her and touched her shoulder.
"Lynn!"
"J-Jordan?" her unrelenting cries of pain lessened as she realized someone had found her.
"It's me! What happened?!"
"It hurts! My leg and my shoulder!"
"Okay, okay! I'm gonna try to fix it! I'm gonna try!"
He started to feel a little bit desperate, and it showed in his actions. He rolled up Lynn's left pant leg all the way up above the middle of her thigh as she continued to sob. There he saw a gash going vertically down her leg. It wasn't something she would be dying from, but it was long and bleeding quickly. It wasn't too deep, but she would lose more blood if he couldn't find a way to stop it.
He wasn't a medical professional by any means, but he could tell that she might possibly need a few stitches to put this one back in place. Jordan knew he had to stop the bleeding, and needed something to put pressure on it. He pulled out one of his extra shirts out of his inventory and ripped it apart into two pieces Then he wrapped one piece tightly around her leg. Lynn made pained gasps as he tightened the wrap but he knew it was necessary.
His hands got covered in blood as he tried his best to stop the bleeding. Once he had finished tying the makeshift bandage around her leg, he moved to her right shoulder. The blood didn't seem to be coming from that area, but the shirt was so soaked in blood that it was hard to tell. Ignoring personal boundaries, he ripped open her shirt with his hands to find the cut. He used the other strip of his shirt to clean around the wound, and found that it was much less damaging than the blow to her leg. The bokoblin must have not gotten as much power under its swing when it attacked with its spiky club.
It was a horizontal gash, located just below her collarbone, and he was pretty sure it hadn't been broken. This one wouldn't need stitches, but it was still pretty nasty. All in all, she could have been much worse off. He started applying his ripped cloth to her shoulder. He did not care how uncomfortable Lynn felt, he did what he thought best to stop the bleeding and begin recovery.
"What are y-you d-doing?!" she gasped through the pain and tears.
"Relax." he replied stressfully, though he didn't know if he was saying it more to her or himself, "I'm just trying to cover the damage."
"But it h-hurts! It hurts!!" she screamed as he applied pressure to her chest, desperately trying to stop the bleeding.
"I know it hurts, I know. But there is no way I can make it stop. I would if I could but I can't. Now I need you to listen to me." he told her, his voice becoming firmer as he started to realize what he needed to do, "I want you to take some deep breaths. Can you do that?"
"I-I d-don't know..." Lynn gasped through her tears.
"Ok, I need you to try for me." he told her calmly, trying to remain patient with her, "Just try to take deep breaths. In...and out. Just like that."
