He hoped that that would flip a switch. He knew it wouldn't be immediate, but he hoped that everyone could get back on track as soon as possible. Maybe he was expecting too much, but he was on a mission now. Jordan stopped in the middle of the yard, because if they were going to heed his words, he needed to show that he meant it. The clothesline caught his eye. He would start off small.

He started off by going to the clothesline and picking up any clothes that he found that were dry. Clothes were a bit of a weird topic for the humans in Hyrule. Since each of them had been brought to Hyrule in just their underwear, this meant that they were forced to buy clothing from the Ventest Clothing Boutique, the local clothing store. Luckily for them, nobody had crazy proportions that needed to be addressed, so they could just buy the tunics in predetermined sizes without having to worry too much about if it fit or not. Nobody was too fussy about wearing something that was a little too large anyhow.

The woman who ran the boutique had told Amber (who loved to frequent the shop) that she did make clothes on request in different sizes, and she had passed the message on to the others. So far, only a couple of people had gone to ask for a pair of pants or a tunic that fit them specifically. Most of these garments were still being sewn, but nobody seemed to mind.

Jordan grabbed the clothes off the line that were clean and dry. Since all of the pants and tunics were quite similar in size and shape, it was hard to remember whose clothes were whose. Luckily, Olivia had come up with an ingenious color-coding idea to tell who each article of clothing belonged to, and things became easier to sort.

He passed his damp shirt as he picked up the last of the dry clothes he could carry, and brought them inside. Jordan dumped all of the clothes on the dining table and spoke to the room at large. "Hey, I brought the dry clothes in, so come over to see if any of your stuff is in here. I'll be back with more." Before he went back outside to grab more as the others walked over to find and stuff their clothes into their extended inventories.

So far, it seemed like the human's inventory was the same as Link's, meaning it had no real limits, and they could carry as much as they wanted, whenever. However, Jordan always felt like it was sort of like cheating if he kept everything in his inventory, so he liked to keep some things out. For example, ever since he had gained powers, he kept his main swords, bows, and shields out of his inventory and left them in his room. Of course, he didn't keep things like raw meat or fish out because that would rot, but some things that he didn't have to have in his inventory often stayed out. Some of the others felt the same, and it was a common occurrence to have people wandering around looking for an object, only to realize it was in their inventory all along.

Jordan went over to the second house to make sure Bolson and Karson were all good. Bolson reported positively, saying that they were ahead of schedule. Jordan thanked them again for the millionth time, and went back into the yard.

There were multiple things on his mind at the moment. First, his plan for saving the girls, second, his yearning to go back to the beach and try to surf on the water, and third, the nagging dark thoughts in the back of his head telling him he was a terrible person, and how he was unfit to lead the humans. Thankfully, Jordan could beat back the dark spot, but it was still there, every time his thinking paused for too long.

Jordan spent the rest of the day being productive, helping out wherever he could as he tried to motivate everyone out of their sluggish, depressive demeanors. That evening under the lamplight, the group decided to start planning their rescue mission. Oscar had gotten a hold of Lynn's map of Hyrule and laid it out on the dining table, and they all gathered around.

"Alright, we're all here." Matt started off, "I think the first thing we need to decide is who is going on this mission. I think that Jordan has to go as the leader." he stated, looking around the room for support. There was a lot of agreeable nodding, and it seemed like the matter was settled. Jordan felt grateful that they were confident in choosing him, and it made him all the more motivated to succeed.
