Eden and Crowley cackled as Crowley bent down and fused the fifty pence coin on the sidewalk that led to the bookshop.  This was his favorite trick and he was so pleased that Eden, now four and a half, was getting such a big kick out of this.

“Crowley? Eden? What are you two doing back there?” Aziraphale called as he glanced behind his shoulder, only to realize that his husband and child we’re now far behind them. They had left the bookshop for a bite to eat and a nice walk, but obviously, Crowley had other plans….

“Nothin’ angel! We’re coming!” Crowley said as he hoisted his daughter onto his shoulders, who was still giggling.

“What so funny Eden?” Aziraphale asked as he gazed up at the chubby little red head. “Daddy…”
“Oi, look, there’s the shop! ALLONSY!” he shouted before Eden could finish her sentence.

Eden squealed with laughter and delight, she loved it when her Daddy would say that.

The following Tuesday, the family once again walked to a nearby eatery and enjoyed a lovely lunch. But on their way back however…

“Hey look Eden, fifty p!” Crowley exclaimed at the site of the shiny coin on the sidewalk.

“Daddy wait!”

But it was too late, Crowley had already grabbed the coin and tried, and failed, to yank it off the sidewalk.

Eden’s hysterical laughter made him realize his blunder and his face turned red with embarrassment when he realized that Aziraphale had saw the whole thing as well.

“Dear boy, you know you can miracle yourself fifty pence if you need it.” He said as he helped Eden to her feet, the almost five year old had literally fallen over from laughing so hard. She finally managed to calm down enough to fill her Papa in on what happened.

“Shut up. I know that.” Crowley muttered as he scooped up the chubby youngster. “Come here you little bugger…” He blew on her cheek and she laughed even harder.
“DADDY NOOOO! She screamed in mock horror.

“EXTERMINATE EXTERMINATE!” Crowley chanted and he pretended to gobble her up as the trio reentered the shop, Aziraphale shaking his head fondly.
