“Aziraphale…I think we’re in a Hitchcock film.” Crowley said as he looked out of the window. A bunch of birds, a whole variety of species were sitting on the outside of the windowsills and it was freaking him out.
Aziraphale handed him his coffee, “I wonder what’s got their feathers in a twist…” Aziraphale murmured.

They both turned when a heard a chair creak, their eyes were met by their five year old daughter who had her arms full of leftover pancakes.

“Eden, what are you up too?”

“It’s time for my friends treats.” Eden said as she hopped out of the chair and walked towards the back door, which led to the garden and the woods.

Their curiosity peaked, the father’s followed Eden outside, where the birds were now sitting on the grass, waiting patiently.

“Hi everyone, I got pancakes today.” The five year old sat crisscross and she made sure every single bird got a fair share of pancake chunks.
Once the birds finished their breakfast, to the father’s surprise, a family of rabbits joined the crowd.
Rabbits made Crowley nervous. Eden seemed to sense her Daddy’s tension and she said, “It’s okay Daddy, I asked the Fluffbottom’s to not touch the veggies in your veggie garden, and to not dig up in any of the flower beds.” As she said this, a group of squirrels, chipmunks, moles, voles, and even a couple of foxes some owls, a hare and a old badger joined the group.

“Ngk.” Said Crowley. Aziraphale chuckled.  “Oh Crowley look!” Aziraphale pointed to the dirt path that lead into the woods, and there was a small herd of deer coming their way. The herd consisted of a giant buck, a doe and two fawns.
Eden clapped her hands and said, “It’s Marco and Molly, their babies are finally old enough to walk!” Eden rose to her feet and the other animals cleared the way for Eden and stayed seated, watching Eden contentedly.

“Eden wait!” Crowley called out, he followed Eden towards the deer. That buck’s antler’s made him very uncomfortable. Aziraphale followed close behind.

“It’s okay Daddy! This is Marco, he’s my best friend, and this is his mate Molly, and their twins, Rarity and Clarity. Twins are rare for deer you know.” She said proudly as she gave each member of the herd a kiss on their adorable snouts.
Azirpahel stepped forward, “Hello there, my, such lovely creatures you are.” He stroked Molly’s soft fur.
“Did you name them yourself Eden?” Aziraphale asked as the twins, Rarity and Clarity licked Eden’s chubby face.
“No Papa, they told me so themselves.” Eden said proudly.

Aziraphale and Crowley gaped at one another.

Eden really was full of surprises.
