When I arrive the current paladin is waiting with the others. I put out the flames along the way so there is a chance that he did not see anything but it seems unlikely. I have not been seen yet so I take a chance and use magic to make Rin look like he normally does before heading into their line of sight. "Seiji! You're back!" Yukio says seemingly relieved. "And you got Rin." He says before making sure that we are both okay.

The paladin talks to Shura about how he saw the blue flames and she was supposed to eliminate anything involving Satan. Then he walks over to us. "Which of you used the flames?"

"What do you mean? I was around Rin the whole time and I did not see anything. I mean I did see a blue light in the distance but I did not think anything of it. Did any of you see anything?" I ask the others with a slight glare.

"Other than some blue light and Amaimon when he was attacking us I don't think so." Ryūji says and everyone nods in agreement. The paladin looks at us and seems to believe it.

"Fine. But I will be keeping an eye on you all just in case." He says before disappearing.

"Did you just gaslight the paladin." Shura asks me.

"I did." I say and she laughs before putting me on the back.

"I'm proud of you."

"Thank you. Now we have to fix Rin's sword because he lost control and he won't get it back until the sword is fixed sealing his powers again."

"What but he looks fine?" Shima says.

"It is merely an illusion. He is stuck in demon form so I had to knock him unconscious."

"What can we do?" Yukio asks.

"There is still a person from the family that forged that sword alive. Maybe if we take the sword to her she will be able to fix it."

"Alright. You guys go off to do that and I will stay here with Rin. I have to stay focused to keep him asleep and to make sure that he does not change completely into a demon."

"Fine, I will take the others and fix the sword. Keep Rin safe."

"Wait why are we even talking about this? He's the son of Satan!" Konekomaru says, clearly distraught.

"Why does it matter? He has done nothing to intentionally harm people which is more than most people can say."

"Wait. Aren't you Rin's brothers does that mean that you have Satan's powers?" Shima asks.

"No, I was too sickly to inherit them but I have to get tested every day." Yukio says.

"Yes, but I can suppress them myself and I have no need for them so I never use them."

"What?" Yukio says.

"Do not worry I suppressed them when I was very young and have not used them since so not even the Vatican knows. Well actually I do not even think they know that I am their blood brother."

"Wait, you're not just another orphan that that old man took in?" Shura says.

"No, I was just deemed to be the least threatening and looked less like them. So they thought I was just human." I say with a shrug. All of them look at me in surprise for a while before we go our separate ways.

It takes about a day and a half for them to get back with the sword. When they do and they get close enough Rin changes back into his mostly human form and I release my spells on him. After I am done I get permission and then leave. I go straight to the Wammy house and go to sleep with Lucian by my side. Mostly because I can tell that he has not been sleeping enough either.

I only ended up getting a week of vacation before I was called back to the school. Apparently we have a mission in Kyoto. We are all taking the train so once I arrive at the school I just grab my things and Yukio drags me to the bus. Once I am on the bus Yukio leaves and I wait as exorcists and the rest of my classmates get on the train.

Rin ends up sitting next to me and taking the window seat so I relax into my seat until they need us to do something. Shura goes to the front of the car and tells all of us what we will be doing. Apparently there are two artifacts that belong to a demon, who is known for causing plagues and one of them has been stolen. The other had someone attempt to steal it so we are headed there for added protection.

I along with some of the exorcists here are supposed to focus on tending to the wounded from the initial attack for the eye. I am also back up for if there is another attack.

When we arrive we get on a bus and it turns out that the monk, from the temple that was attacked, that came to pick us up is apparently Shima's older brother. And the place that we are staying is a hot springs inn owned by Ryūji's family. Also the others are avoiding Rin and seem to be unsure of what to do with me other than one of the girls who clearly wishes to be courted by Rin.

When we get inside of the building I am given a room to stay at for now so I set my things in there and head to the area where all the wounded are being kept. I look each of them over before starting to treat the people who are the worst off. The other students are in charge of handing out antidotes when they are completed and replacing empty IVs if one of the doctors has not got to it yet.
