Work has been fun because I get to work with two of my brothers from different lives. Bucky has also been bringing me on dates and has started calling me by different pet names. Overall September was rather calm and nice.

I got a message from Nico saying that he was right and Will proposed to him on a picnic on the edge of camp. Nico spent hours talking with me about it once I got off work. I went to a ghost town with Shane and Ryan where the only thing that they saw was bats. Next we went to a penitentiary and it only had a few ghosts but they were all very active and Shane and Ryan got a lot from it.

When Halloween came around Aelynn decided that she wanted to be a puppy. I do not want to go out because my blood sugar is not behaving appropriately due to my menstrual cycle and I feel sick. My dad agreed to take her as long as, in his words, "there is no funny business." I assured him that nothing is going to happen because at the moment I do not even really want to move at all.

Bucky made dinner and we watched a movie while cuddling on the couch with a blanket because it is somewhat cold. When my dad got back he put up Aelynn's candy and put her to bed before going to bed himself. We watched a few horror movies with horribly inaccurate killers and supernatural creatures.

I guess I fell asleep during one of them because I woke up on the couch still snuggled up to Bucky. I spend much of the morning making calls to my love and past husbands. Informing them of the current soulmate situation and as always they are not surprised. I figure they are as used to it as I am at this point.

A few days later I get a call from Ryan saying we are going to a bridge that is supposed to be controlled by a demon. I pack my bags and head there. I am still not feeling the best but luckily we are investigating at night so I do not have to deal with the extra weakness from the Sun.

I arrive before the others so I look around the area a bit. I can definitely feel that this area is controlled by a non hell demon and the feeling of it is familiar. I hope that I do not run into anyone obnoxious here.

Soon enough Shane and Ryan arrive. We go out onto the bridge and I realize who it belongs to. It is Shane's bridge or at least his demon forms bridge. Ryan goes over the story of the bridge and the theories of why a demon is here at all. I know however that likely there was no real reason that the bridge was chosen.

Shane messes with Ryan by saying things like it feels strange and he feels like something bad is going to happen. Shane also yells out that the bridge is his now which leads me to look at him with an eyebrow raised as this is literally his bridge. He also dances on the bridge and says to the demon, which is himself, that he is disrespecting the bridge. I simply roll my eyes and wait for him to be done.

After a bit more shenanigans from Shane they knock on the bridge to attempt to summon the goat man, who is the demon that resides here before we head into the forest. Inside it is very dark and comforting. I see some animals and an entrance to the fae wild which is probably where the people that are said to have gone missing are. We do not find anything other than some words on the spirit box that Shane influenced so we head back to the bridge.

When we get back to the bridge the two of them decide to do a Ouija board session in the very middle. I lean against the bridge railing and watch them. They set up candles around the board and salt around themselves before starting. They have to push away some of the salt though because Ryan thinks that is way they are not getting any results.

They do not get anything though so they pack up and leave. I head back home as well. I message Shane and tell him that I only want to be there for demon cases now because ghost ones are boring and he makes the ghosts avoid us anyway. He agreed so I will only be called in for supposed demon cases.
