As Old as time, second part

Me and Dipper get sent into the woods to put up signs. I hold the signs as Dipper nails them up. He goes to nail a sign into a tree when hear the clang of metal on metal. Dipper looks around and finds a seam in the tree. He slips his fingers into the gap and opens a small door to reveal a few levers.

He moves the levers until we hear a noise and turn to see that a compartment has been opened in the ground. Inside is the third journal that Stanford made. He looks through it and I look over his shoulder. When he gets to a page that says trust no one he looks at me and Bill laughs so hard he falls off of my shoulder. I look at him in disappointment before turning back to Dipper.

"You know that you can trust me." He looks at me for a moment before nodding right as Mabel shows up behind him.

"What do you got there?" She says startling him and causing him to turn around and hide the book behind his back. "Are you really not going to show me?"

He thinks for a moment. "Fine but don't tell anyone." He says before showing it to her. After we look through it for a while Dipper hides it under his jacket and we head back to the shack.

I need to try and keep Stanley from opening the portal again or at least have a plan for how to contain it when he eventually figures out how. I know that he has the first journal meaning if he gets ahold of the second and third he would have the full blueprint to fix it.

When Dipper is not paying attention I take the third journal and rip out the pages with the blueprint part. I fix the book so it shows what was on the other side of the pages and looks like it was not tapered with. Then I return the journal and head to my room.

I place the pages in one of my books so I can give it back to once I figure out how to contain the portal energy if something happens. There is a chance that I could use the same approach that I used for the gate to Gehenna but I couldn't hold it for that long so it is not very plausible.

I am organize the displays of random knickknacks when I hear banging outside. I walk out to see that Mabel and Dipper are up against the wall and a giant gnome made of gnomes is in front of them. "What do you think you are doing?" I say getting the attention of both my siblings and the gnomes. I make sure to let out my fae aura so they know that I am of a higher rank than them.

"We are going to make her our queen."

"And she agreed to this?"

"Well not exactly."

"Then why are you still here? You are making it hard to finish what I am doing."

They look at me, then at Mabel, then at me again and then run off into the forest. "Woah, how did you do that?"

"Yeah, how'd you do it? I couldn't get them to leave no matter what I said."

"I guess I have a way with words or I am just intimidating."

"Haha. True." They both reply before we all head into the house. When we head in Stanley let's us pick one thing each from the gift shop. Dipper picks a hat with a pine tree on it, Mabel picks a grappling hook and I get a journal with a question mark on it because why not. After that I get back to organizing things and my siblings go to watch TV.

Stanley ends up making us do family fun day. The first family fun day he decided that we were going to make fraudulent money but I told him that if he made me do it I would call the police on him. So I ended up staying home and later bailing them out of jail because they were caught.

Today he decided that we were going to have another family fun day. "If you even suggest something illegal I will call the police on you so fast."

"Don't worry it's nothing like that. Now everyone put on your blindfolds and get in the car."

"I am not going to put on a blindfold." Blindfolds give me bad memories.

"Fine. Just get in the car." He says to me after putting the blindfolds on Mabel and Dipper and putting them in the car. I get in after them and we drive to the lake.

It turns out that we are going fishing which could be entertaining. Me and Stanley get on the boat and Mabel and Dipper end up bailing on us to look for a creature to take pictures of for money.

So now me, Bill and Stanley are in a boat in the middle of the lake. He lets out his fishing line and turns to me. "So what happened between now and when you died?"

"You know that is not a very nice question to ask." I say and Bill starts laughing. "You shut your mouth. Or beak at the moment I guess."

"Are you really not going to tell me?"

"Fine. I was a triplets with two brothers who looked a lot like each other. I was trained as an exorcist and worked as one as well as working as a detective."

"It sounds like you were busy."

"Yeah but I only lived to twenty something so it did not last that long."

"Do they know that you come back to life?"

"No. They had too much going on for them to make them wait for me to return." I say pushing around a pebble on the bottom of the boat with my foot.

"Does anyone other than me know you are alive?"

"Not right now. You have to understand time is not linear so right now the people who know about me are only aware of the previous version of me that is alive right now in.... Seattle I believe." Stanley grunts slightly in response clearly not knowing what to say.

We ended up staying mostly quiet after that until Dipper and Mabel got back with Soos. After that we took pictures, fished, did a bit of petty crime which I took no part in, got chased by the lake police and I actually managed to spot the lake monster that my siblings went after originally. So they did not seem to see it and I did not feel like bringing it up.
