It did not take long for Dipper and Wendy to get fired for shenanagannery. So they are both back to just working at the shack.

While I was out for the day getting supplies for the shack the twins found one of Stanford's old experiments. A carpet that allows people to switch bodies. When I returned I quickly fixed it though and rolled up the carpet before taking it down to the basement once night fell. The twins ended up solving their squabble that led to them finding the room though so Soos took it as his office.

I am reading in my room when Mabel bursts in with her friends. "Is there something I can do for you?"

"You're coming with us to see Several Timez perform tonight."

"I am?"

"Yes. You don't get a choice. Now get ready we have to go."

"Alright. But leave my room first."

"Fine but hurry up. We don't want to be late." I nod and they leave my room. I close the door and get changed into a pink sun dress before heading out of my room.

They basically drag me to the building where the concert is taking place and when we arrive they find out that the concert is all sold out. They seem rather upset before deciding to sneak in. Mabel picks the lock with a bobby pin and we get inside to the back stage area. But by the time we get in the concert is over.

Of course the girls do not know this so they just continue to sneak until we get to their dressing room. Inside we find tubes for cloning with clones of different levels of progress and the band in a giant hamster cage.

We do not really get to look into it though because someone comes into the room so we have to hide. Their manager was the one who came in and he got on them about how their show almost did not sell out. Though they had most of the town show up so I do not know what they were expecting. He also criticizes their dancing other than one person who he gives a treat and threatens them with being replaced by some of their other clones before leaving.

Once he leaves Mabel comes out from where we were hiding and the others follow so I leave the spot as well. The band notices Mabel first and one of them dances towards her aggressively. One of the others notices that she is a little girl though and stops him.

They talk about how they have been stuck in a big hamster cage for their entire lives and how all they want is to be free and see the outside world. So of course Mabel and her friends break them out and stuff them in a duffle bag to take them home.

I help them sneak the bag up to Mabel's room and once we are there we let them out. They look around the room and then thank us for freeing them from their previous prison like containment.

Their manager came by because he followed a trail of hairs they lost here but he was sent away by Soos who did not know that they were here. Since they cannot leave right away we find ways to spend the time. We help teach them some life skills and feed them. They dance for us and sing as a thank you.

We find out through the news station on the TV that their manager was arrested because a goat stole his license plate and me and Mabel friends go to tell them but Mabel stops us. I simply pick her up and throw her over my shoulder before locking her in my bedroom for a few minutes as we tell them that they are free now.

We let them out of the house and they run off into the forest. Hopefully they will do well out there. We head back in and I let Mabel out. She looks at me with a pout. "We had to let them go, they only wanted to be free."

"But I loved them."

"That may be true but it was not fair to them for you to keep them here. If you did you would have been no better than the man who kept them trapped before."

"I guess. But it doesn't mean I am happy about it."

"You do not have to be." She huffs slightly before heading out of my room. I see that while she was in here she pulled all the linens off of my bed and moved some of my books around but it was easy to fix up.

Mabel's pig, waddles, was carried away while Stan was supposed to be watching him so Mabel is mad at him. We decide to follow the yarn from his sweater to find him.

We follow the yarn into an old church and down through a hole in the floor. When we go down we find perfectly preserved dinosaurs but we pass them to continue looking for the pig.

We find him in a nest and successfully retrieve him but the winged dinosaur returns and comes for him again. Stan punches the dinosaur though to disrupt it and it falls to the floor. We quickly run back through the cave to the opening and once we get out I use magic to collapse the old church so none of the dinosaurs can get out again or at least not as easily.
