Skià pov

Dipper and Mabel got into a scuffle with the time police again but got out of it unscathed and Soos had a good birthday for the first time in years. Mabel also met a churb and used some of the love potions he had to mess with the love lives of Wendy's friend group. Which of course I ended up having to help fix.

I am reading through a book in my room when suddenly Dipper comes in and drags me into the living room. "What is going on?"

"Pacifica needs me to help her with a ghost and Mabel made her invite you, me, Mabel and her friend to the Northwest party that is happening tonight."

"Do I have to go?"

"Yes. I am not dealing with these girls and a ghost all by myself."

"Fine give me fifteen minutes and I will be ready for the party." I say before going back to my room to get ready. Mabel has been going on about how fancy this party is so I pull some of my fancier clothes out of the shadows. I look through the dresses I have and decide on a light green Victorian dress. I look it over to insure that it is still in pristine condition before pairing it with some dark green flats and putting in some stud earrings. I look myself over and decide that the outfit is good before heading back to the living room.

"Wow, where'd you get that dress?" Dipper asks when he sees me.

"I have had it for a while, I made it myself." Neither of my statements are a lie and he seems to pick up on that so he nods and we wait for the girls. Once they come down in their freshly made dresses we head out. Though Dipper did not dress up so he is probably going to be loaned some dress clothes.

We arrive and the girls look around while me and Dipper head to look into the ghost though he gets dragged into a room to get a suit before we do that. Once he is properly dressed we head to a room that seems to be a library.

I look around and immediately feel the energy of a ghost coming from the painting above the fire. I move over to look at it closer as Dipper tells Pacifica about how he thinks that it is a level one ghost but I can tell that it is much more powerful than that. "I am pretty sure that you are wrong about that rating."

"Why? It has only been moving small things."

"It feels more powerful." I say and Dipper nods. My siblings have learned to listen to my feelings.

"So what do we do?"

"We have to figure out what level the ghost is and then look in the journal to figure out what is the most effective against it."

"Makes sense."

"I don't care what you do. Just make it fast, the party starts soon."

"Yeah, yeah." He says and the person in the painting above the fireplace disappears. I look around as things start to move around and the fire gets bigger before a man crawls out of it. Flesh covers the burning bones as he emerges and a beard of flame engulfs his face. Dipper grabs me and we  end up under a pool table with Pacifica. "So it seems like we are dealing with a level ten."

"Look in your little book for how to get rid of it." Dipper does as she asked and it says to that the most you can do is pray for survival.

"Well then. That does not seem very promising." Dipper seems like he is going to respond but he gets interrupted by the ghost moving the table above us leading to Dipper grabbing my hand as he runs through the halls with Pacifica.

As we run I think about how easily I could get rid of the ghost but then some of my secrets would be revealed. So I plan on waiting to see if it gets desperate enough. Not to mention I am curious about how Dipper is going to go about solving this.

Once he notices that I am running behind him and I do not need him to lead me he lets go of my hand and starts reading through his journal. Right when we are at the end of the hallway he finds out that portrait ghosts can be trapped in a silver mirror and there is one in the room in front of us.

We are about to run in and grab it when Pacifica stops us. Apparently her parents care about the rug in the room more than they care about her, or at least that is what I got from her explanation. She fights with Dipper about it until they fall through a painting into a secret room.

Inside we find a small silver mirror as we look around. When we find it we leave the room and the ghost is waiting for us but thankfully he actually does get trapped in the mirror. Once the ghost is caught Dipper goes to talk to Pacifica's parents about it and makes me go join Mabel and her friend at the party.

I quickly fix my dress, clean my shoes and slip into my pureblood mask before heading into the ballroom where everyone else is. When I enter everyone turns to look at me. I suppose they decide that I fit in because they go back to their discussions rather quickly. As I enter the room I get pulled into a conversation about proper matchmaking choices.

I eat some while several people try to convince me to talk to their sons. I decide to just give in and talk to a few of the boys but I am too young to even be considering people yet.

I do not have to converse for long though because the ghost bursts into the room and starts destroying things and turning people into wood. Pacifica runs off and her parents hide in a safe room under the floor. The ghost swiftly makes it through the crowd making people into wood as he goes.

He gets to me and tries to turn me into wood but I block his powers and reveal some of mine so he backs off right as Dipper and Pacifica come into the room. Dipper gets turned into wood and right before he does he tells Pacifica that she has to let the towns folk in to stop the ghost.

She listens to him and runs towards the lever to open the gate when her parents tell her to stop and ring a bell. She stops for a moment but continues and they ring the bell again so I go over and snap the bell in half as she opens the gate. The ghost looks happy to see the promise made to him fulfilled and then disappears as the people at the party turn back into their normal selves and the towns folk come in.
