The night was thick with silence as the moon cast an ethereal glow over the familiar landscape of Erode. The air felt heavy, saturated with memories of their recent adventure on Snake Island. Ansh, Lakhan, Roshni, and Divyans stood at the mouth of the cave, their hearts pounding with a mix of exhilaration and dread. They had escaped the clutches of an ancient curse, or so they thought.

As they stepped into the open air, a sense of foreboding washed over them. Ansh felt different, as if he were floating just above reality, observing the world through a veil. He glanced at his friends, their faces illuminated by the soft light of the moon. They shared laughter and relief, but Ansh felt a strange disconnect, like a dream from which he couldn't awaken.

"Hey, let's take a picture to remember this moment!" Lakhan exclaimed, pulling out his phone.

"Good idea!" Roshni replied, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

The group huddled together, their faces bright with smiles. Lakhan positioned his phone and counted down. "One, two, three—say 'Naga!'"

They grinned, but as the camera clicked, a chilling realization hit Lakhan. He stared at the screen, mouth agape. "Wait... Ansh, you're not in the photo!"

"What do you mean?" Ansh asked, his voice trembling with confusion. He leaned closer to the phone, but the screen reflected only the three of them—Lakhan, Roshni, and Divyans. Ansh felt a cold shiver run down his spine.

"Guys, this isn't funny," he said, feeling an unsettling sense of dread. Suddenly, a gust of wind swept through the cave, swirling around them, and in an instant, Ansh's vision blurred. The world around him dimmed, and before he could comprehend what was happening, his soul felt like it was being tugged away, fading into nothingness.

"Ansh!" his friends cried out in unison, their voices echoing in the empty space.

In the blink of an eye, the darkness consumed him.

---

When Ansh opened his eyes again, he found himself standing on the outskirts of Erode, disoriented and bewildered. The familiar streets were empty, shadows dancing under the moonlight. He looked down at his hands—transparent, ethereal. Panic coursed through him. *What is happening?*

"Ansh!" he called out, but his voice was swallowed by the silence.

Meanwhile, Lakhan, Roshni, and Divyans returned to their homes, oblivious to the grave situation unfolding around them. As they entered their respective houses, an eerie sense of loss enveloped them, but they brushed it aside, attributing it to the lingering effects of their harrowing adventure.

---

Later that night, the three friends gathered for a chat over video call. Each of them felt an unspoken tension in the air. "Has anyone heard from Ansh?" Roshni asked, her voice laced with concern.

"No, he just... vanished after the photo," Lakhan replied, glancing at his phone, which still displayed the ominous image devoid of Ansh.

Divyans frowned. "It's late. I'm sure he's just resting. He'll turn up."

Just then, as if summoned by their worry, a notification pinged on their phones. Each of them received an identical message—an anonymous letter that mirrored the one Priya had once received. They exchanged worried glances, and Roshni read the letter aloud:

"To the friends of Ansh,

The curse of Naga Theevu is not yet broken. The Nagapasham's power continues to weave through the lives of those who dare to uncover its secrets. Ansh has paid the price, and now his fate is tied to the island. You must act quickly, for time is running out.

Your ancestors have been watching.

Join us."

Their hearts sank, the weight of the words heavy in the air.

"This can't be real," Lakhan stammered. "Ansh... he can't be gone."

Roshni's voice trembled as she added, "We need to find him. We have to go back!"

Divyans nodded resolutely. "We'll figure this out. We owe it to him."

As the trio sat in the dim light of their screens, an unsettling thought lingered in the back of their minds—had Ansh truly crossed over, or was he somewhere in the shadows, waiting for them to uncover the truth and bring him back? The adventure that had begun on Snake Island was far from over, and the stakes were higher than they had ever imagined.

---

Their determination ignited a spark within them. They knew they had to return to the cave, the nexus of the mysteries that bound them to Ansh and the ancient curse. But this time, they were not just fighting for answers; they were fighting for their friend's very soul.

As the night deepened, a sense of urgency propelled them forward. They would not rest until they had unraveled the enigma surrounding the *Nagapasham* and brought Ansh back from the abyss.
