Lauren's POV

"Hey, thank God you answered!" he said as soon as I answered the call.

"Kailangan, eh. Kasi gusto kong sabihin sa'yo na you should stop

calling me because I am so not interested in you anymore. Gets? Ok,

bye." naiinis na sabi ko sa makulit kong ex na bored na naman yata sa

buhay kaya ako ginugulo.

"Wait...Lauren, wag mo munang ibababa."

"Ano na naman bang gusto mong sabihin, Billy?"

"Ahm...gusto ko lang sanang...mag-sorry sa ginawa ko. I thought by

doing that, I could win you over."

"Sorry ba kamo? Aba bago yan. May malubha ka bang sakit? Cancer?"

sarcastic kong sabi. Well, sa dami ng mga kasinungalingan at

panlolokong ginawa nya, ni minsan wala akong narinig sa kanyang

"sorry".

"Grabe ka naman. Please accept my apology. I'll do

anything...promise." tunog puno ng sinseridad sa telepono, ah. Tss.

Parang hindi si Billy Villaraza ang kausap ko.

"Don't bother me anymore. Yan ang magagawa mo."

"Well, I can't do that. May special order akong pinanghahawakan from

Tito Migz. He said that I should stay by your side, take care of you,

and make sure no one will hurt you...stay by your side...even as

friends."

"Tito Migz? You mean, Miguel Santiago? Sino naman sya?" I

sarcastically asked.

"Your father, you dummy!" natatawa nyang sabi. I can imagine his smile

while saying it.

Alam ni Billy na tatay ko si Miguel Santiago. When we were still

together, he made us meet in secret. Ayaw kasi ni Mamita na magkita

kami ng Tatay ko. Kasi kung gusto daw nya akong makita at makasama,

sana pinaglaban nya si Mommy noon. At sana hindi sya nag-asawa kaagad.

His wife doesn't even know I exist. That hurst me more. I have to keep

it a secret from Mamita, while he has to keept it a secret to

everyone.

"Talaga ba?"

"Oo, at nangako ako sa kanyang hindi kita hahayaang masaktan ng kung

sinong lalaking aaligid sa'yo."

"Pakisabi sa Tito Migz mo na hindi ka na nya kailangang abalahin,

dahil may boyfriend na akong mag-aalaga sa akin."

"Aww, kailangan mo talagang ulitin sa akin na may boyfriend ka? Alam

ko naman yun, noh. But, can't we just be friends?"
