"Helen..." he whispered, a newfound determination stirring within him.

Meanwhile, Helen walked into her classroom, taking her notes seriously as she focused on her teacher. On her left side, her mobile was placed, recording the lecture for Aaron.

Soon, it was break time, and she decided not to have lunch today since she wasn't hungry. As she walked through the campus, she found a quiet spot to study.

Ryan looked into the canteen, searching for Helen, and then ran toward her classroom, only to find it empty. He let out a huge sigh when his gaze suddenly fell on Helen from the second floor. His lips curved into a wide smile as he ran toward her.

Helen took out her glasses from her bag and put them on, preparing to open the first page of her book when she heard the sound of heavy footsteps.

"What do you want?" she asked, rolling her eyes as she looked Ryan up and down. He smirked and sat down on the ground next to her.

"I want to earn you," he said, looking at her intensely.

"Sure you do..." Helen replied, poking her tongue inside her cheek in annoyance. She slowly opened the book, trying to focus on it, when Ryan spoke again.

"Will you tell me how?"

"Ask your girlfriends," Helen said sarcastically, without lifting her gaze. Ryan smirked at her response and said, "Well, I earned them with money. If you wa—" His words were cut off when a hard book was smacked against his head.

"Fuck off from here, or I will kill you," Helen said angrily. Ryan looked at her with a frown, then pouted, falling silent for a few minutes. Helen resumed reading her book.

Seeing Helen ignoring him, Ryan lay down on the ground, sliding like a snake until he was near her legs. Looking up, he saw Helen regarding him with a questioning gaze, arching her eyebrow.

"You want me to love you?" he asked suddenly, causing Helen's heartbeat to stop and her ears to flush red. She quickly pushed Ryan away a little and stood up, adjusting her dress.

"Who would ever fall for a bastard like you?" she shouted as she walked away.

Ryan remained on the ground, watching her retreating figure and smirking. "Hah... easy."

Helen sat in class, trying to concentrate, but her thoughts were consumed by Ryan, as they always were.

She had been crushing on him for over two years, falling in love even after knowing how bad he was for her. It made no sense but she couldn't control her heart.

The moment she first saw Ryan, she fell for him. When she first heard his voice, she fell for it. Everything he did made her fall for him—everything except for the bullying and whoring around.

Initially, she became friends with Aaron, only to discover that her crush was his brother. But after seeing the way Ryan interacted with Aaron, her feelings turned to dislike—though not hate. She managed to live with the rivalry, trying to sort out the mess in her heart for two years.

She put her feelings aside for the sake of her friendship with Aaron, who was the best thing that ever happened in her life. She decided to give him a chance—not directly telling him, but accepting his sweet gestures. However, when Ryan kissed her yesterday, all her feelings came rushing back.

Deep down, she knew her heart still beat for Ryan.

When he kissed her, it felt like the best moment in the world. But then she remembered the countless girls who had been kissed by him and realized he might want to make her just another one of them. Disgusted by that thought, she resolved to push her feelings away.

But at night, all her thoughts gathered together, leading her to a decision to embrace love and let him take the lead.

Classes ended, and Helen walked out of the room to see Ryan standing there, waiting for someone.

He started walking toward her, and Helen looked back and forth nervously.

"Come with me," Ryan said.

"Where?" Helen asked.

"You'll find out," Ryan replied, grabbing Helen's warm palm in his cold one.

They walked together, and Ryan helped Helen into the car, making sure she buckled her seatbelt.

"Where are we going?" Helen asked again, glancing out the window to see the way.

"To earn you," Ryan replied, causing Helen's cheeks to flush with warmth.
