"Oh, love it!" Helen said excitedly, grabbing the spoon from Aron's hand and diving into the bowl of ice cream. She completely forgot about her supposed diet, lost in the moment.
Meanwhile, Ryan was walking toward the canteen since it was his break time too. He stopped when he saw what was happening in front of him. Aron was gently wiping ice cream off Helen's chin, while she was still eating, acting like everything was perfectly normal.
Ryan's heart sank as he overheard people around them saying how good Helen and Aron looked together. Some were saying Aron was lucky, while others complimented Helen's beauty. Each comment made Ryan's frustration grow.
With a cold expression, he walked into the canteen like nothing bothered him. He took a seat at a table with his friends, who followed him in, but he felt distant from them. Ryan drummed his fingers on the table, trying to shake off the anger building inside him.
A few minutes later, Czar and Sia came over to sit in front of him. They looked concerned.
"What happened?" Czar asked, studying Ryan's face.
"Nothing," Ryan replied, letting out a heavy sigh. His tone hinted that something was indeed wrong.
Sia hummed as she ordered her food, her eyes darting between Ryan and Czar. She could feel the tension but didn't know what to say.
Czar and Ryan began talking about their plans after college, discussing internships and summer trips. But Ryan's attention kept drifting back to Helen and Aron, who were now leaving the canteen. Helen's laughter rang out, and her smile made Ryan's chest tighten with jealousy.
Helen finished her ice cream and beamed, her smile bright enough to make Aron choke on his bite. Ryan scowled at the sight.
"Are you okay?" Helen asked, quickly standing up to pat Aron on the back gently.
"I'm fine," Aron said, waving her off, but Ryan could see the way Aron looked at her, and it made him fume.
Ryan clenched the edge of the table, his nails scraping against the wood. He couldn't stand watching them together. He had to do something.
When Aron took Helen's hand and led her outside, Ryan's expression darkened. He felt a surge of anger and dashed after them without thinking.
As he reached the hallway, Ryan saw them enter the classroom. Frustration boiled inside him as he punched the wall. He paced for a moment, trying to calm himself. This couldn't happen; he wouldn't let Aron have her.
Just as he turned to head back to his class, he spotted Helen coming out of the classroom alone. His heart raced at the chance. Without thinking, he ran after her and grabbed her wrist, pulling her toward him.
"Helen! What are you doing?" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with shock as she tried to pull away. She struggled against his grip, but Ryan didn't let go.
"Let me go!" she shouted, but he ignored her and dragged her into the storeroom, pinning her against the wall.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" she shouted angrily.
"Don't you dare shout at me again," Ryan said, his voice low and intense as he leaned closer. "You won't talk to him."
"Aron..." Helen began, but Ryan interrupted her.
"Don't say his name!" he hissed, gripping her wrist tighter.
"What are you even saying? Are you crazy?" Helen shot back, her anger rising.
"YES, I AM!" Ryan yelled, getting even closer, their faces inches apart. The air between them crackled with tension.
"For you..." he whispered suddenly, and before she could react, he closed the gap and kissed her.
Helen's eyes widened in surprise, and for a moment, her mind went blank. But as she regained her senses, she tried to push him away, but he wouldn't let go.
He tasted her lips, feeling like he was finally getting what he had wanted for so long. It felt like the sweetest drug, and he couldn't get enough.
He kept kissing her, moving his lips against hers, but when he tried to slip his tongue inside, she wouldn't let him in.
"Open your mouth," he demanded.
"Fuck you," Helen said, stepping back and kicking Ryan's knee. The sudden pain made him loosen his grip, and Helen seized the moment. She slapped him across the face and bolted out of the storeroom.
Ryan stood there, stunned, watching her leave. His fists clenched in anger.
"FUCK!" he shouted, feeling the frustration boil over. He wanted her. He wanted Helen, and he felt like she should want him too. That thought consumed him, pushing aside all else.
He wouldn't let Aron have her. He wouldn't let anyone have her. Those thoughts only fueled his anger more.
Meanwhile, Helen rushed into the bathroom, her heart racing. She turned on the tap, splashing cold water on her face, desperate to wash away the lingering feel of Ryan's kiss.
"Fuck that bastard," she muttered under her breath, scrubbing at her mouth as if she could erase the memory. The feel of his lips was burned into her mind, and she couldn't shake it off.
...
Aron was still in the classroom, glancing at the entrance, wondering why Helen hadn't returned yet. He began to worry and decided to find her.
After telling his classmates he needed to use the restroom, he stepped out of the classroom, his concern growing.
As he walked down the hall, he spotted Ryan coming toward him, his face dark with anger. The tension between them was thick, and Aron felt a knot in his stomach. Something was definitely wrong.
Don't forget to vote from now on bub ....
