"And I am loving you..." Kian replied before picking up Crystal in a koala hold and carrying her back inside the house.

We both reached our room. Kian gently placed me on the bed and cuddled up beside me. We were in each other's arms, not saying a word, letting the silence speak for itself. It spoke of the beautiful day we had just spent, the cherished memories we had created.

The ordinary day had suddenly become so special, and I was loving every moment of it.

"Kian," I whispered softly, and he hummed in response.

"Thank you," I said quietly, and he looked down at me, his deep hazel eyes searching mine.

"There's nothing to thank me for, Birdy, but there's so much I need to thank you for," he said, his gaze locking with mine.

I didn't say anything after that, just nodded before resting my head on his chest again. The cold night breeze touched our skin, but there was nothing but warmth between our intertwined bodies.

A few minutes passed, and then Kian slowly moved away from me and sat up. I looked at him, frowning.

"Just be back in a few minutes, Birdy," he said softly, and I nodded.

Third Person's POV:

Kian quietly closed the bedroom door behind him, his expression hardening, turning colder than before. He walked downstairs and went straight to the kitchen.

He poured himself a glass of water and drank it quickly, then refilled another glass with cold water. Slowly, he slid his hand into his pocket and pulled out a small bottle. Twisting the cap open, he revealed tiny white pills inside. He took one out and dropped it into the water. Once the pill dissolved, he closed the bottle and tucked it back into his pocket.

He swallowed hard, his expression shifting from stern to sad, guilt evident on his face.

"I'm sorry..." he whispered, picking up the glass. His grip tightened with every step as he walked back to the bedroom.

"Just two more doses," he murmured under his breath, "and everything will be alright..."

He opened the door, and Crystal looked up at him with her shining eyes, giving him a beautiful smile. Something clenched in his heart, but he kept his face stern.

"I waited..." Crystal said softly, and Kian smiled as he placed the glass on the table.

Kian sat on the bed beside her.

"And you'll always have to, because I'll always come to you, Birdy," Kian said. Crystal sighed, letting out a soft chuckle.

"You're my husband, Kian. Of course I'll always wait for you," she replied, and Kian looked at her for a moment before kissing her softly.

"I love you, Birdy, and there is no limit to my love. It will always be limitless," Kian whispered before sitting up straight again. He picked up the glass and handed it to Crystal.

"Here," he said, and Crystal nodded, taking the glass and drinking all of it in one go.

Kian took the glass and placed it back on the table before lying down next to her. He pulled her into his arms, kissed her forehead, and closed his eyes.

Crystal stared at Kian's face before softly smiling and closing her eyes, slowly letting herself drift into sleep.

Time skip - More than half an hour later...

Kian slowly opened his eyes and looked at Crystal's sleeping face for a few moments. His hand reached out, gently tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I'm scared, Birdy..." he whispered.

"I'm scared that I'll lose you if I don't do this. Please forgive me... Please love me, Birdy..."

He stood up from the bed and walked to his closet, slowly taking out his office suitcase. Opening it, he rummaged through it until he found a glass case. He pulled it out, opened it, and took out a small injection.

Kian walked back to the bed, standing over Crystal. One hand was clenched into a fist, while the other held the injection. He turned her gently, unzipping her dress down to her waist, and injected the needle into her arm, pressing it until the liquid emptied.

Once finished, he let out a loud sigh, collapsing onto the bed.

"I'm sorry... Please forgive me, love..." he whispered again as he gently pulled her dress back up and zipped it.

He shoved the empty needle back into the suitcase and returned it to its place before climbing back into bed, pulling Crystal into a tight embrace. He whispered, "I love you" over and over again until his eyes grew heavy, and he drifted into sleep.

Crystal's POV:

I was standing alone in the middle of a dark place, surrounded by nothing but silence.

Suddenly, a cold wind blew past me, sending shivers through my body. I stepped forward, and as my foot touched the ground, I felt wetness beneath me.

I looked down and screamed in horror-my feet were covered in blood. Another gust of wind rushed by, and I quickly turned around, only to see the entire floor soaked in blood, as bodies strewn everywhere. Not one or two... hundreds of bodies... and I was standing in the middle of it all.

A sound echoed.

Thump... and a body fell from above, splattering blood. I screamed again, trying to run, but another body dropped near me, covering me in blood. Body after body fell from above, again and again.

I gasped for breath, tears streaming down my face. My teeth chattered, my body trembling. Everything was terrifying. Then, suddenly, one of the bodies turned its head toward me, its eyes wide open, a twisted smile forming on its face.

Mr. Win... I saw him.

Then another body turned... Mrs. Win... with the same wild expression. I screamed for help, but no one came. I cried out Kian's name, again and again, but my voice went unheard. My sobs filled the air as I clung to myself, trembling, when suddenly, something grabbed my leg and pulled me down. I fell to the floor, completely drenched in blood...

Third Person's POV:

Kian held Crystal tightly as she thrashed in her sleep, her body trembling as she cried out.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, love... I had to do this. You can't leave me, Crystal... I won't let you go. Just one more time, and it will all be over, I promise. I'll keep you safe..." Kian whispered, tears falling as he held her close.
