RUN, BIRDY, RUN...

I heard his demonic laugh telling me to keep running or those hungry dogs would eat me. I didn't look back this time, just kept running. I knew if he caught me, it wouldn't be any good for Neo, and I had to save him.

More twists and turns kept coming in front of me with long, sharp branches that were making me bleed from many areas. I gasped but didn't give up; those dogs were running and jumping at their highest speed.

I saw a huge tree that was hollow inside, which could easily hide me. I quickly started running around that area and suddenly hid myself.

The dogs stopped barking, but I heard his demonic laugh along with a whisper. I couldn't hear anything because I was busy hiding myself.

A few minutes passed, but the dogs couldn't find me. I felt a little suspicious, so I took my head out, trying to peek outside when a hand came near my mouth, pushing me inside again, and a large figure loomed over me. My eyes tried to see that person but couldn't because of the darkness.

His hand left my mouth, and something warm and wet touched my lips. I couldn't gasp at the situation when that unknown man was kissing me. I tried to push him multiple times, but he wouldn't budge. His lips kept rolling over mine again and again, sucking them harshly while his tongue ordered me to open my mouth. No, I wouldn't let him enter.

"Open your mouth, Birdy, or it won't be good."

After hearing that, I knew who it was, and I couldn't stop him anymore. I opened my mouth, letting his tongue taste my saliva. A sudden heat started rising inside my body.

"Fuck, Birdy, you taste so good," he said between kisses, and a small tear left my eyes, which he tasted.

When the kiss ended, he grabbed me by my hair, pulling me back onto the same path from which I had run.

"Where is Neo?" I asked, remembering not to get caught, as he had said.

"He is all good, Birdy. You should think about yourself because something bad will happen to you," he said in a husky voice, looking at me with a smirk.

I gulped and looked down. We kept walking until we reached the mansion.

My feet were bloody from all that running, painting the white floor red.

I saw everyone staring at me with angry gazes, even Neo's mom too.

I felt a sudden rush of guilt to my heart. Maybe running away was a bad idea.

"Call the nurse," Kian ordered.

The maid nodded her head and left. Kian released his hold on my wrist and sat on the sofa like a king. I looked around and then at Mr. and Mrs. Well. They were just staring at me with so much anger in their eyes, making me look down in submission.

"LOOK HERE, CRYSTAL," Kian suddenly shouted, making me quickly look at him with wide eyes. A sudden fear and darkness started surrounding me. It was something new, something very dangerous.

"Come here, Birdy," he ordered, pointing his fingers in my direction, indicating me to be near him.

I took baby steps towards him until I was one hand's distance from him. His hand pulled me with a sudden jerk, and I was now on him, his eyes staring deeply into mine.

"ALL OUT," he shouted again, and I flinched, closing my eyes in fear.

His teeth suddenly dug into my bottom lip, stretching it away more towards him. My eyes quickly opened while his were already open, looking at me blankly. He dug his teeth in more, making me whimper in pain before releasing them.

He pulled me onto his lap by my waist, and now I was sitting just on his lap, clinging to him in a very awkward position. He put his head on my neck before biting my flesh, taking it inside his mouth, and giving it quick sucks. For once, I felt a little pleasure, then it started turning into pain. He kept sucking harder and harder while I kept moaning for him to stop.

He pulled out after sucking it for a whole two minutes and left my neck. His face came in front of me again, but this time his eyes held something unusual. His hold on my waist tightened, pulling me closer to him, his chest pressing against my breasts hard.

"I want to hurt you in many different yet harsh ways, but I can't, not when you are like this. It's tough for me, tough for me to hurt you because all I want to do is love you. You are mine and will be mine only, no one can change this fact.

So don't try to run away, Birdy, because in the end, this Birdy will be pulled back into my cage, into my arms.
