“Bhabhi, hold that steady, or I swear this whole arch is going to collapse on you!” Yuvan called out dramatically, his voice muffled slightly by the tape he had clamped between his teeth. He was crouched on the floor, trying to secure the base of a towering balloon arch. His hair was sticking up at odd angles, evidence of the frantic eve we’d had so far preparing for Avivansh’s birthday suprise.

It's his birthday tomorrow and as I planned to suprise him in the midnight I was so excited for his reaction and also nervous because I don't how would he react when I will tell him what about my feelings.

I bit back a laugh, holding the arch with both hands. “I’m trying, Yuvan! But maybe if you’d stop pretending to be a balloon engineer and actually listen to Kirtee’s instructions, it might not collapse in the first place,” I teased. it was chaotic since I asked theur help but sure it was fun I also asked Ishika to help me and she agreed to come and I was suprised how easily kirtee and yuvan bonded with her as if they've known each other for years.

“Hey, I’m the only one here with a plan,”  Kirtee, who was standing on a chair a few feet away, rolled her eyes. she shot back, carefully looping another strand of fairy lights along the curtain rod. She looked so focused, her tongue sticking out slightly in concentration, and I had to admire her determination.

“Well, your plan involves us doing manual labor,” Ishika joked, sitting cross-legged on the floor, surrounded by piles of colorful streamers she was attempting to untangle. “Asthetics k chakkar me kya kya nhi karna pad raha hai.” She grinned up at me mischievously, and I couldn’t help but laugh.

(She can make us do anything for Asthetics)

I took a step back, still holding the balloon arch, and glanced around the room. My heart warmed at the sight of my friend and family coming together for this. The once pristine terece was slowly transforming into a magical wonderland of soft, golden lights and bursts of deep blue and silver—Avivansh’s favorite colors. Every tiny detail was important, from the arrangements of flowers on the tables to the surprise board filled with heartfelt messages. I wanted him to know how much he meant to me, how grateful I was to share my life with him.

“I hope he likes it,” I murmured, more to myself than anyone else, feeling a touch of nervousness flutter in my chest.

Kirtee hopped down from the chair she had been standing on and placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. “Bhabhi, are you kidding? He’s going to love it. You’ve put so much heart into this,” she said with a soft smile, her warm eyes filled with encouragement.

Yuvan, who had just finished securing the balloon arch, wiped his forehead dramatically. “And if he doesn’t, I’ll make sure he gets a good scolding from Dadisa,” he said, puffing up his chest in mock seriousness. His comment earned chuckles from both Kirtee and Ishika, who were just as caught up in the excitement of the moment.
