"Oh my God, I am going to be an aunt!" Kirtee chirped in excitement, rushing over to hug Ayushman and Kashish.

"I’m going to be an uncle! Oh my God!" Yuvaan exclaimed, running over to Kashish and embracing her tightly. "But now I feel old!"

Everyone burst into laughter at his playful antics.

"Congratulations, Ayush!" I said, patting him on the back. Avni also went over to Kashish, joining in the hugs and congratulations after everyone else.

"Thank you, Bhaiya," Ayushman replied with a smile, and I nodded in acknowledgment.

Dadasa performed the traditional ritual of warding off the evil eye, circling money around Ayushman and Kashish's heads before distributing it among the servants. Everyone blessed the couple, and we continued with breakfast. Avni sat quietly beside me, absorbed in her little habit of separating the peas from her vegetables. She didn’t know it, but I found it so endearing.

"In dono ne toh good news de di, par agle mujhe tum dono se bhi chahiye," Dadisa said, pointing at us. (These two have given us good news, but next, I want it from you two.)

Avni’s hand froze mid-bite, her face flushing a deep shade of pink as she fumbled with her food.

I was about to respond when Yuvaan cut in, his tone teasing. "Dadisa, jis speed se inka romance chal raha hai, aapko das saal intezaar karna padh sakta hai." (Dadisa, at the speed their romance is going, you might have to wait ten years.)

"Tujhe bada interest rahta hai dusre ki life mein," I shot back, my jaw clenched as I glared at him. "I think Dadisa should get you married first. You seem far too eager to give her a grandchild." (You have great interest in other people's lives.)

"Haan tu sahi keh raha hai, Suchita. Ek ladki hai meri nazar mein," Dadisa added, eyeing Chachi and Chachu with a knowing smile. (Yes, you’re right, Suchita. I do have a girl in mind.)

"Haan, haan, main toh kab se ready hu, aap log hi nahi dekh rahe ho," Yuvaan joked, his expression mock-serious as he threw his hands up. (I’ve been ready for so long; you all just can’t see it.)

"Nalayak, padhai pe dhyan de tu apni," Chachi scolded, smacking him lightly on the head, making everyone laugh again. (Worthless, focus on your studies.)

I leaned in closer, matching her height as she focused on her breakfast, and whispered softly in her ear, "Did you hear what Dadisa said?" She turned slightly, her brows knitting together in confusion. But when the meaning of my words sank in, her skin paled, and her beautiful brown eyes widened in shock.
