Serenity Is Kidnapped

Chapter 22

Loki leaves his chambers to go to the throne room to see his father. Serenity leaves to go to see Cupid. As Serenity was walking to see Cupid, her parents appeared out of nowhere. "Mother, father! What are you doing here?" Aphrodite said, "What do you think we are doing here, daughter?" Serenity's eyes get big, "No! No! I won't go back to Olympus. I'm marrying Loki." Aphrodite said, "That's what you think daughter. If the All Father won't give us what we want, then his son won't get our daughter." Serenity starts to run away but Aphrodite grabs her hand pulling a bracelet off of her wrist. "No, daughter, you are not going anywhere." Aphrodite and Serenity started to struggle. Aphrodite tells Hermes, "Hermes, quickly knock her out. So, we can get out of here." Hermes said, "You expect me to hit our own daughter, I can't do it." Aphrodite said, "Fine, I'll do it myself." Aphrodite, using her goddess strength, slaps Serenity knocking her out. Hermes catches his daughter as she falls, "Aphrodite, how could you do that? She's, our daughter." Aphrodite tells Hermes, "Now, let's get out of here before we are caught. Pick her up and let's go, Hermes." Hermes picks up Serenity and he and Aphrodite leave.

As Loki gets to the throne room, he suddenly has a feeling that something was wrong with Serenity. Loki enters the throne room and sees his father pacing back and forth. Loki said, "Father, what's wrong? You look distressed." Odin looks at Loki. Odin said, "Son, it has come to my attention that Serenity's parents have entered Asgard. One of my guards saw them approaching the palace. I sent a guard to your chambers to protect Serenity." The color drained from Loki's face. Odin sees his son's expression. "Son, what's wrong?" Loki said, "Serenity is not in my chambers. She is on her way to her brother's chambers to spend time with him." Odin's expression grew grim, "By the gods, we have to find her immediately." Odin started to yell for his royal guards. The royal guards came running into the throne room, the captain of the royal guards said, "Sire, is there a problem?" Odin said, "Yes, Serenity is not in Loki's chambers. She has gone to her brother's. We have to find her before her parents do. Spread out and found her. Quickly!" Loki takes off running to Cupid's chambers.

Once Loki arrives at Cupid's chambers, he knocks on the door and yells for Cupid, "Cupid! Cupid! It's Loki! Let me in!" Cupid came to the door in a rush, "Loki, what's wrong?" Loki said, "Please tell me that Serenity is here with you." Cupid's eyes get wide with fear, "No, she's not. I haven't seen her since yesterday." Loki said, "Oh, damn!" Cupid asks, "What's wrong with my sister?" Loki said, "I don't know for sure, but I think that your parents may have her. They were seen heading towards the palace, and now we can't find Serenity." Cupid said, "Hell no! We have to find her." So, Loki and Cupid backtracked to Loki's chambers to see if they could find any traces of Serenity. As they were walking, Thor saw them and asked, "Loki, Cupid, what are you looking for?" Loki explains the whole thing to Thor, and he joins the search for Serenity. As they are walking back towards Loki's chambers, they spot a bracelet laying on the floor that belongs to Serenity. Loki runs and grabs the bracelet and holds it in his hands. "This is Serenity's, she was wearing it before I left her." Cupid looks at the bracelet, "It is Serenity's. I know for a fact because I gave it to her for her birthday one year." Cupid looks at Loki, "Loki, what does this mean as if I didn't know." Loki said, "I think that your parents have Serenity." Thor said, "By the gods! No! We have to find her." Loki said, "Agree brother. Let's spread out and go in different directions. Perhaps we can get to them before they leave Asgard." So, Loki, Cupid and Thor separated and went in different directions.
