Loki And Serenity Gets Odin's Approval

Chapter 5 

Serenity looks at Loki sweetly, "But what about my parents? They will surely try and take me back to Olympus." Loki said, "Let them try. I'm not giving you up that easily. You are not a pawn to be used however they want. You are a person, a beautiful person, who I intend on keeping safe and protected." Serenity asks, "But where would I sleep tonight?" Loki gives her a mischievous grin, "Why you will stay with me, of course." Serena's eyes got big, "With you? But I.....I ....." Loki smiles and laughs, "Don't worry my dear. I won't do anything that you are uncomfortable with." Serenity then asked, "What will I sleep in? All of my clothes are back on Olympus." Loki gives her a sly smile, "Well, I guess you have to sleep in the nude until we find you some clothes." Serenity looks at him with a shocked look on her face. Then Loki laughed, "Don't worry my dear. I was just kidding. I'll see if my mother has an extra nightgown for you to wear." Serenity breathed a sigh of relief, "Ok, that's fine then."

Odin comes up to Loki and Serenity, "Are you still having a pleasant time?" Loki said, "Yes, father we are. In fact, I have asked Serenity to stay with me on Asgard." Odin's one good eye, raised in curiosity. "Really? Is she now? That's intriguing, son but what are you going to tell her parents when they come for her?" Loki replied, "I have asked Serenity to marry me and become my wife and queen." Odin said, "You have? So, you have finally found someone to call your wife and queen. That's good son, that's very good but I don't know how you are going to keep her here when she's not officially your wife and queen yet." Loki takes a deep breath, "Father, there's something that I need to tell you that might change your mind about Serenity's parents." Odin gets curious, "Tell me son, what is it that her parents are up to?" Loki lets out a big breath then speaks, "Serenity has told me that her parents are planning on using her as a pawn to gain power and prestige in Asgard by using her to get Thor or myself to fall in love with her. Then she would have a piece of Asgard, but I say that she won't succeed. I won't allow them to use her in this manner any longer." Odin said, "But you are going to marry her, son. So, her parents have won." Loki said, "No father they haven't won...not yet anyway. I will marry her, but I will not release any land to them because they don't deserve it." Loki pauses for a moment then continues, "But I might need your assistance father in this matter. Will you help me to save the woman that I love from her ruthless parents?" Odin thought for a few minutes then said, "Yes, I will my son. Between the two of us, we will not allow them to take her back to Olympus." Odin's look becomes very serious, "I just hope that this won't get the attention of Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods. I would hate to have a confrontation with Zeus, but I will deal with things as they come up."

Serenity said, "Zeus is my grandfather. Maybe I could talk to him if he comes to Asgard." Odin said, "I will keep that in mind. Serenity but hopefully it won't come to that." Loki asked Odin, "So, will you allow me to marry her, father?" Odin thinks for a minute then speaks, "Yes, I will allow the marriage to take place...... providing that you tell her parents about the marriage, yourself and you can convince her parents to agree to the marriage." Loki gets a little annoyed at his father's words, but he agrees to it. "Yes, father, I will inform her parents of our upcoming marriage as well as try to convince them that we are in love and persuade them to allow the marriage." Loki gets quiet then said, "But no matter what they say, I'm still marrying her....regardless." Odin looked at his son and knew that he was serious about marrying Serenity. So, Odin just nods yes.
