Loki and Serenity's Second Night Together

Chapter 14 

Loki took Cupid to his new room, "Here you go Cupid. I hope you will like your stay on Asgard." Cupid said, "I'm sure I will. Asgard has a lot of beautiful women, so I could get used to a place like this." Loki laughs, "Yes my friend, Asgard does have a lot of beautiful women, which is something that I think that the God of Love would appreciate." Cupid smiles, "Yes, I do appreciate that." Loki said, "I'm going back to Serenity. Do you need anything before I leave?" Cupid said, "No, I'm good for now." Cupid then asked Loki, "When are you and my sister getting married?" Loki said, "In a couple of weeks." Cupid said, "So, soon, you must really love my sister." Loki said, "I do. She means everything to me." Cupid nodded his head yes. Then Loki leaves the room and goes back to his room, where Serenity was waiting on him.

Serenity was in Loki's room waiting for him to return. When Loki returned to his room, Serenity greeted him, "Loki, is my brother all settled in?" Loki answers, "Yes, love he is. We ran into Thor on our way to his room." Serenity said, "So, Thor has met my brother?" Loki replies, "Yes love." Serenity asked, "What did Thor think about him?" Loki said, "Well, at first Thor wasn't sure about him but after a little while, he realized that Cupid wasn't a bad man despite him coming here to take you away. Once Thor knew of the situation, he understood." Serenity said, "I was afraid that something like that would happen." Loki said, "Don't worry love, everything will work out in the end. I even took him to see my parents." Serenity said, "What did they have to say about Cupid?" Loki said, "They had a similar reaction as Thor but soon realized that Cupid was an innocent bystander." Serenity asked, "So, your family is accepting of Cupid?" Loki said, "Yes dear, they are. You have nothing to worry about."

Serenity said, "Loki." Loki replies, "Yes, dear, what is it?" Serenity said, "I have been thinking that maybe I should stay in another room tonight." Loki's eyes got big, "But why dear. Didn't I keep my word last night and not touch you?" Serenity said, "Yes, you did but I don't want you to have another sleepless night because of me." Loki replies, "I would have a worse night if you left me. I want to keep an eye on you darling. I still don't trust your parents. They still may try and get you. So, I would prefer it if you stayed with me." Serenity said, "I don't know Loki, I don't want you to

have any more sleepless nights because of me. Loki said, "Don't worry about me darling. I can manage alright, just as long as you are beside me." Serenity said, "Well....." Loki interrupted, "Well, nothing darling, I want you with me. I promise that I will be ok." Serenity said, "I guess we could try it one more night. But if you don't get any sleep tonight, then tomorrow night I'm sleeping in another room." Loki said, "Ok love, I promise I'll rest tonight."

Later on, that night, Serenity went into the bathroom to change into her nightgown. She hoped that she was doing the right thing by giving Loki another chance. She didn't want him to not rest because of her. Loki waited patiently in the bed while Serenity changed into her nightgown. He was trying to get a hold of himself. He knew that he had to sleep tonight, or she would be sleeping in another room tomorrow night. When Serenity finally came out of the bathroom, Loki couldn't take his eyes off of her. She looked so damn gorgeous and sexy in that nightgown, that Loki didn't know how he was going to keep his word tonight, but he knew that he had to try. Serenity watched Loki's expression closely. She knew that he was struggling to keep his composure. She didn't know how this night was going to go but she had a feeling that he wouldn't be able to keep his promise tonight.
