Element Of Betrayal

"No one betrays me!" Ras roared up at Rox, Nokt and Zarkt, standing again, furious. "I think we just proved that's not true," Rox informed him smugly before nodding to her brother, "Zarkt?" In reply Zarkt raised my hand, firing another blast of shockwave at Ras, knocking him to the ground as a group of Wolf Masks leaped on top of him, Sora kicking away a warrior that tried to attack her and Lloyd, Wyldfire doing the same as another warrior jumped at her while more leapt into the crowd, beginning to fight the Elemental Masters. The Masters struggled to fight back against the powered up Wolf Masks without their powers, one leaping onto Lloyd's back as Euphrasia was kicked to the ground by Cinder, Sora knocking the Wolf Mask on Lloyd off his back with a piece of railing from the steps up to the victory podium. "Let me tell you something," Sora said, ducking back as a security droid flew in between her and Lloyd, struggling to throw off the Wolf Mask on its back, "Going from having half the Elemental Powers in the Tournament to absolutely none," Sora  continued, kicking away a Wolf Mask as Lloyd ducked under a punch, "Not ideal." "Arin told me the Dragon Horns are at that strange Monastery," Lloyd told Sora, kicking away a Wolf Mask as it tried to grab her head with one of it's new arms, "I would've bet everything that Ras was behind this, but I was so wrong." 

Sora moved back slightly, avoiding the leaping attack of a warrior, whacking it back with her makeshift weapon before turning and doing the same to another. "Don't be so hard on yourself, Lloyd. Jordana and Tarim being taken over by ancient evil souls was not something anyone factored into the equation," Sora reminded him, blocking a Wolf Masks attack with her makeshift weapon before Lloyd kicked it away. "We gotta stop Nokt, Zarkt and Rox from getting to that Monastery to free the rest of the Forbidden Five," Lloyd warned, looking over, only find that Zarkt had grabbed Rox and Nokt by the hand, using the power of wind to leap away to the roof of a nearby building as we headed for the Monastery. "Might be too late for that," Sora replied, worried as Ras finally threw the Wolf Masks off his back with a roar. "Get back here! Those Elemental Powers belong to me!" Ras bellowed furiously, bashing two Wolf Masks to the ground with his hammer as another leapt at him from the side, grabbing Ras, only to quickly knock him off and to the ground. Meanwhile, Roby was being protected by two guards, only for him to spot the Element Cup, moving to grab it as one of the Wolf Masks knocked a guard away, the second knocking it away as Roby knelt down to grab the Cup. However, his second guard was also knocked away by a Wolf Mask, who glared down at him, the mask's eyes glowing red.

"I knew Lloyd wouldn't listen if we told him Master Wu caused the Merge!" Arin growled to Zane, furious as the pair rushed across the stone bridge Cole had made to the Monastery, "I just knew it." "Arin, that information is a lot to process," Zane pointed out gently. "What's to process? Your teacher disrupted all the realms! He caused mine and Tarim's parents to disappear," Arin replied bitterly, the pair entering the Monastery to find Cole attempting to tear the Horns from the Monastery roof using his mech. "Ugh, these things are welded on tight," Cole groaned, frustrated. "The Games are almost over Cole," Zane warned. "And if Ras wins he'll be here in a split second to use those horns to get to the Source Dragons," Arin added, pointing up at them, "We gotta hurry! Did you, hear that?" Arin then asked the pair, hearing the wall at the back of the Monastery begin to shake. "Be ready for anything!" Cole warned, punching the wall with a fist, breaking it open to reveal Nya and Ryu, who quickly ran out, "Nya!" "Haha," Arin laughed as Ryu excitedly knocked the boy to the ground, licking at his face. "This is most unexpected," Zane told her, shocked but pleased. "Tell me about it," Nya agreed, "Ryu and I found a way to talk to Kai. Ryu gives me a spark, and my connection with my brother lets me use some Dragon Ivory to speak to him." "Dragon Ivory like, from those horns?" Arin asked. "Exactly," Nya confirmed, "Apparently, Dragon Crowns can communicate with the Nether Space, and could be our key to freeing Kai and Bonzle. Though unfortunately could also release the Forbidden Five." "How did you determine all this?" Zane asked. "We overheard it when we were getting captured by - them!" Nya yelled, pointing out of the Monastery towards Nokt, Zarkt and Rox as he flew towards the Monastery, determined to free their brethren.
