"Let's go everyone," Lloyd commanded as he re-entered our quarters, Cole yawning as he stood, him and Zane quickly walking out to begin, "You too Wyldfire," Lloyd added, looking over at the girl as she curled up against Ryu, "Time for warm ups." "Uhm, I lost my Heat Power. I've literally got nothing to warm up with," Wyldfire replied, leaning back against Ryu miserably.  "There's more to being a ninja than Elemental Powers," Lloyd lectured. "Yeah, like sleeping in," Wyldfire suggested, "Don't ninja sleep in?" "You need to focus on learning spinjitzu," Lloyd explained, Wyldfire groaning before walking out as Lloyd walked over to Nya, who had packed a bag, preparing to leave to find Jay, "I know you'll find Jay, Nya." "I have to. Even if he doesn't remember anything about us, Jay belongs with us, his family," Nya declared, only to look down slightly in worry, "But I'm scared Lloyd. He shattered his goodness. What if he can't heal it?" "There has to be a way," Lloyd replied, kneeling down next to her, "And we'll all join you once the Tournament ends, and find whoever's behind the attacks on the dragons." "Be careful," Nya told him as they both stood, hugging each other. "You too. We'll miss you," Lloyd responded before he turned and walked out, causing Nya to sigh sadly, turning and walking back over to Kai's portrait, touching it gently.

"I could really use my older brother right now," Nya admitted, "I'd give anything to hear your voice again, Kai." "Hello? Are you there?" Kai asked, his disembodied voice speaking out from the stone Ryu had found in Ras' quarters. "Kai? Is that you?" Nya asked hopefully, turning as she heard Ryu give a growl in reply to Kai's voice, "Ryu, did you hear that too?" Ryu growled again in reply, pulling out the small stone. "Is someone with you?" Kai asked hopefully as Ryu walked over to Nya, stone in his mouth. "Kai? Kai, can you hear me?!" Nya yelled hopefully as Ryu placed the stone down in front of her. "I said, Ryu if there's someone there, let me know," Kai pleaded. "Ugh, he can't hear me," Nya sighed in disappointment, "There must be a way to-" Suddenly, Ryu's eyes glowed white, sending a jolt of power into Nya as Kai warned, "We might not have much time."

"Kai!" Nya yelled down at the stone hopefully. "Nya? Nya, is that you?" Kai asked hopefully. "You have another sister I don't know about," Nya responded sassily, "How are you talking through the stone?" "Stone?" Kai repeated, confused, "I don't know. I've got some of Ryu's scales stuck to me, so Bonzle thinks the physical connection lets us communicate. Don't know why it works with you though." "You're my brother," Nya reminded him, crossing her arms, "We share a lot more than a few scales." "The Forbidden Five, Four, uh, whatever," Kai groaned, "They're also speaking to someone on the outside, probably planning something terrible." "Great. More bad news," Nya complained. "Let me guess, wherever you are, the world's in danger again?" Kai asked, unsurprised. "Kai, I found Jay," Nya replied, "Only he's not our Jay. He lost his memory, he's like a completely different person." "In Jay's place that might be an improvement," Kai joked weakly. "Save the jokes 'til after we free you," Nya replied, picking up the stone, "Maybe this stone can do more than allow us to speak. Maybe it could open a doorway out?"

"Ugh, it took me hours to get back to sleep," Cole groaned, yawning as he walked through the city beside Zane, Sora, Lloyd and Wyldfire behind them, "Every time I closed my eyes I saw that Monastery again. Why now? Why me? Why it is here?" "Perhaps rather than asking why you were guided to a mysterious Monastery in the middle of the night, a better line of enquiry might be how you can reach it," Zane suggested as the group continued back into their quarters. "Ugh, I need a hot bath," Sora complained, stretching. "You're back," I noted, turning away from mine and Arin's poster of clues to the others. "Arin, Tarim. Where have you been?" Lloyd asked, confused, "You were gone again  when we woke up." "We had stuff to think over," Arin replied evasively. "Right, the detective work. Did you find something in Ras' dorm?" Lloyd asked hopefully. "No, uh, Ras, caught Ryu, bro and me," Arin admitted, causing the others to gasp in shock. "How did you escape? Smoke bomb?" Wyldfire asked excitedly, drawing looks from all of us, "I really thought being a ninja would involve way more smoke bombs." "Me too," I agreed, causing Wyldfire to grin, "Anyway, we didn't need to escape. Ras just told us we were free to go." "Ras?" Cole repeated, shocked, "Ras, Ras? Are we talking about the same Ras here? Big scary tiger man who hates dragons? He, let you go?" "Maybe we don't understand his real motivation yet," Arin replied to the other's confusion as I frowned, worried Arin was actually growing to trust the man.
