Within the Cloud Kingdom the monks calmly wrote on their scrolls as they floated through the sky, Seutonius standing at the entrance to the main temple of the kingdom, Marcus at his side. "Writer's of Destiny, your attention, please," Seutonius requested, stepping forward as the writer's paused their work to look at him, "No, keep writing, it's your only job. Just, also pay attention. Ever since our dear Euphrasia revealed herself as the Elemental Master of Wind, something I personally supported from the very beginning," Seutonius added, lying through his teeth, "we've learned our writing is not the only way we can influence the world. We can also... uh, what is it again, Marcus?" He whispered to the monk beside him. "We can do things, Master Writer," Marcus reminded him with a smile, "Take actions other than writing." Seutonius laughed at that, turning back to the monks. "Yes, a bold new idea. And the first thing we want to 'do', is make this place more fun," Seutonius told the writer's with a smile, "So, let's spitball fun ideas. Hit me!" The majority of the monks simply continued writing without a word as one turned to Seutonius, scratching his head. "I don't know, bagels?" The monk offered, sounding bored. "Uh, think bigger," Seutonius encouraged, clearly concerned by the lack of ideas. "Ooh! Ooh! Merlopian t-shirt day?" Marcus offered excitedly as Seutonius nodded in agreement. "And Mucoid hat Mondays," Seutonius suggested. "Yes!" Marcus agreed happily, "Love it."
"Seriously, all anyone wants is bagels," The same monk from before argued with the same bored tone as the other monks simply continued writing, only to stop as their quills stopped working. "Uh, lend me a spare quill? Something's wrong with mine," The monk next to the bored one asked, holding it out to him. "A quill that won't write?" The bored monk repeated, confused, trying to write with his own on his canvas, but it also didn't work, "Wait, mine isn't writing." "Why aren't they working?" Another monk murmured in agreement as they all came to a stop, the quills no longer producing ink. "Why have you stopped working?" Seutonius asked, confused, "We want you to work the same amount, just be fun-ner about it." "We're trying to, but our quills aren't working," One of the monks explained, waving the quill at the two monks as Marcus took a step forward, concerned. "This has literally never happened before in... ever," Marcus said, worried as Seutonius ran down the steps, "Maybe it's the ink?" "It's not the ink," Seutonius replied grimly as he was handed a quill by one of the monks, looking down at it with a frown as he walked around the circle of monks, "It is said that when the Writer's of Destiny can no longer write, something is coming. Something so dreadful, even destiny herself cannot stop it," He admitted, turning back to the monks as they looked to each other fearfully, only to stumble as the Kingdom rumbled beneath them, a group of people walking towards them through a cloud of smoke, "Summon Euphrasia, the Cloud Kingdom is in extreme peril! Let us hope it is not already too late."
Later, Percival stood atop a mound of stone outside the walls of the Imperium city, gazing back at it as a group of students stood below him, now wearing different coloured variants of the Imperium uniform. "Isn't it beautiful?" Percival asked them, turning to look down at the group, "And now that Empress Beatrix is gone, we can make Imperium all we've dreamed it could be together. Public gardens, sustainable power sources," He listed off as the group looked up at him in amazement and joy, "more than one flavour of tea. And we'll open the city to everyone, from Ninjago and beyond." The crowd began clapping happily as Percival raised his hands in the air. "The sky is the... li...mit," Percival trailed off as he saw Euphrasia crashing into the ground, rushing over to see what hit the ground, "What is that?" Reaching the crater left by the crash, Percival was horrified to find Euphrasia struggling to push herself off the ground from where she had landed, whimpering in pain. "Help," Euphrasia pleaded, holding out an arm before she collapsed back as Percival ran down to help her.
"So you've been having dreams about these warriors in Wolf Masks?" Nya asked Lloyd as the entire team stood in the courtyard while Lloyd sat on the steps next to a pot of tea. "They've been so terrifying. I haven't been able to sleep for weeks," Lloyd admitted, holding a hand to his forehead, eyelids drooping, "I thought they were just nightmares." "But after fighting those Wolf Masks last night, we now know they're actually visions," Arin added. "Hmm, visions of terrible danger to come," Lloyd agreed, gulping nervously as he looked up, "And they always end with something called a 'Blood Moon'. Then I wake up screaming." "I've read about the Blood Moon before," I admitted, frowning in consideration as the others turned to me, "The details are scarce, to the point I think someone's specifically tried to erase all information on it. Apparently, it's a rare event in the Realm of the Wyldness that occurs every few thousand years, when dark magic is said to be particularly strong. And given who Cinder said he works for, it's not surprising he'd know at least something about it." "Ras," Lloyd finished.
