"Ehm, new recipe?" Sora asked excitedly as Arin removed a pie from the oven, placing it on the table in the Monastery's games room. "New to you, Sora," I corrected, recognising the smell, "This Frak's recipe?" "Yep. Merlopian Berry Creme," Arin confirmed happily, "Our best friend Frak taught me how to make it." Sora and Ryu sent both of us slightly upset and unimpressed looks at that. "Your best friend?" Sora repeated, hurt. "Other than you two, of course," I corrected him with a slight glare, Arin nodding sheepishly in agreement, "No one can replace the Elemental Master of Technology and a teenage dragon." "Yeah, Frak was our bestie before the Merge," Arin emphasised, "He was as big a ninja fan as us." "Wow, that is saying something," Sora admitted surprised. "He'd be so happy for us now," Arin said wistfully as I nodded in agreement, "But he moved away and we lost touch. But, we'll always have this pie," Arin said, regaining his smile, only for Ryu to immediately swallow it whole to his annoyance as I simply smirked. "Okay then, I'll make more," Arin decided. "Yeah, we need to finish the goodbye treats before you all head off," I agreed with a hint of sadness in my voice, Arin nodding glumly in agreement. "'Goodbye treats'?" Sora repeated, confused, "You two are coming with us, right?" "The Tournament of the Sources is only for Elemental Masters, Sora," I explained glumly, "We don't have any, so what's the point of going with you." "Arin's the Elemental Master of Pie," Sora told us jokingly, causing us both to smile weakly, "But seriously, you both have to come. You're part of the team." "It sounds amazing, but there's no place for us there, Sora," Arin argued, causing her to look away sadly when I just nodded in agreement.

Meanwhile, Lloyd was flying back to Rontu and Egalt's home to speak with the pair, remembering the Source Dragon of Motion's final suggestion regarding the Tournament of the Sources. "If you are going to enter the Tournament of the Sources to find the villain behind these attacks, I'd suggest you all find a Master to lead you," She had told him, convincing Lloyd to go speak to the pair of wise Dragon Masters. Jumping down from Jiro's back and taking the bowl of stew from his head, Lloyd walked down the steps to the pair of dragon's, who calmly sat beside their training ground. "Egalt, Rontu," Lloyd greeted, "I've come for Zane. Oh, and Wyldfire wanted me to give you this. Janis Melon Stew." Egalt walked over, breathing in the smell of the green stew deeply, clearly glad for its arrival. "That was quite kind of her," Egalt said gratefully as Zane raced in from behind them, charging down the stairs. "Zane!" Lloyd greeted happily, only to be completely ignored as Zane jumped over him, landing on one of the short bumps of stone that had been set up on the training grounds, "Good to see you too..." "I am in a training exercise, Lloyd!" Zane yelled back in explanation as he balanced on the rock, jumping between them as Egalt and Rontu began tossing small stones at him to dodge, but Zane simply fought back, kicking them away and destroying them with his Elemental Powers, leading to some smacking him across the body. "You're too focused on fighting back!" Lloyd explained, "Try to harmonize with the motion of the rocks!" Hearing this, Zane performed spinjitzu, using to jump between the rocks to avoid the stones, smacking a paper lantern hung in the trees before using spinjitzu to sail under an obstacle, performing Rising Dragon Technique as he flew around the arena before landing beside Lloyd and the dragons.

"You did it!" Lloyd cheered, "You mastered Rising Dragon!" "Your last minute guidance was quite helpful," Zane replied gratefully, turning to Lloyd. "Despite my initial... misgivings, all you ninja have proven yourselves to be true Masters," Egalt admitted to the pair, impressed. "I just hope my Rising Dragon Technique is enough to combat Shatterspin," Zane replied, still concerned. "Well, now that you, me, Kai and Nya can do it at least we stand a chance against Ras and his team if we ever run into them again. But right now, we have more pressing matters," Lloyd told him, causing Zane to raise an eyebrow, "Someone killed the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons and stole her horns. They did the same to two other dragons," Lloyd explained sadly, causing Egalt and Rontu to look at each other in horror. "Why would someone do such a thing?" Zane asked, shocked. "I don't know. But the Motion Source Dragon came to us for help. She fears whoever did this, is coming for the Source Dragons next," Lloyd explained. "There must be grave danger for a Source Dragon to ask for aid," Rontu said grimly, clearly concerned as she paced past Lloyd. "If the Source Dragons are destroyed, it could mean the end of everything," Zane said, worried, "Are there any suspects." "No," Lloyd replied, "But we believe whoever did it, is entering the Tournament of the Sources. Which is why I'm here. For most of my life, we had a great Master, Master Wu. But we lost him in the Merge. He disappeared... or worse. So I'm formerly asking, will you be our Masters in the Tournament of the Sources?"
