Victor

I'm standing outside the room. The tension eating me alive. The door was closed and I'm trying to catch just a glimpse of her. The lady doctor was taking much time than needed. Is her condition serious? Why is she taking much time? What is she doing to her?

She thinks I doesn't know what she is hiding. Her hesitation, the avoiding of my eye contact and the tripping of her words clearly states that she lied to me and I wont let this go after giving her a good lesson. I should have been more careful.

My patience overcome my tension as I step forward to twist the doorknob. What If that doctor is lesbian? What she has been doing to my wife? These thoughts made me to perform actions. The door knob got twisted resulting in opening before I can even touched it.

The tall figure of the doctor covered in white coat with stethoscope and a black bag. She carried some worried mix with fear expressions. "How is she?" I asked impatiently, desperately. A heavy escaped from her lips that made my heart dropped. Adjusting her spectacles she began to speak.

"She had high fever and it is due to being wet for too long. I had given her medicines and she will come to her senses soon" her voice ringed in my head as I knew it was coming I nearly imagine hearing it  but still my heart sank after sensing the words. I glanced over her face again only to found hesitation like there is something more she wants me to know.

"What is it?" My voice boomed but she didn't reply. "I said what is it?" My eyes pierce through her soul as the desperation disguise itself with wrath. The figure infront of me cleared her throat before forming words as I swallowed them instantly.

"Her mind has been stressing itself" she said and a frown etched on my forehead as confusion came powering all other emotions. "Speak clearly!" I demanded as she sighed again. "Its like she is mentally stressed I suggest you to take her for a well medical checkup or this can be worse with time"

As soon as she completed her sentence I was stilled. I felt cold, unable to breathe like my heart has stopped pumping. "I will take my leave now" I heard her faint sound as she went away disappearing from my sight.

Before waiting for any further second I paced inside our room. As soon as the door got open and she came into my sight my heart shattered into million pieces after seeing her lying stiff on the bed. The white sheet almost matched with her pale face.

Tiredness was spread all over her face as some strands of hair rested against her forehead. Her lips were cracked. For a moment I stood beside her afraid of touching her thinking that what if she disappears from my touch.

She will die because of you

"No no" I replied firmly as the familiar voice that haunts me spoke and I grabbed Aurora's hand that made her stir and I dropped my knees before resting my head beside her palm as I interwined my fingers with her and made the back of her hand to brush against my cheeks and before I can even realise I dozed off.

As I closed my eyes feeling her touch. Her soft touch was more than any therapy. Her presence is enough for me to calm down. Her smile that never fails to flutter my heart. Her melodious voice that was like a soft song that becomes my favourite.

Her hairs which I can caress softly all my life, the doe eyes that hypnotized me whenever it held mines. I felt like drowning, I felt like they are talking to me, telling something she was unable to, wanting something, it feels like they want to see something but was hiding it beneath the fear.

And her beautiful soul, I fall for it countless times but still I couldn't get enough. She is pure like oxygen and a drug for me which I cant live without. Her selfless nature always left me amused. She was perfect in every way.
