Slap

A harsh slap echoed in the dirty cell. Ava's face jerked as her face burned with pain followed by her lips bleed.

Victor's eyes blazed with fury as he gazed at Ava, her wrists and ankles bound to the chair. He raised his hand, and Ava flinched, expecting a blow. Victor's palm connected with her cheek, the slap echoing through the room.

Ava's head snapped to the side, her eyes watering from the pain. Victor's face twisted in a snarl, his eyes flashing with anger.

"You're going to tell me everything," he growled, his voice low and menacing.

Ava's lips pressed together, her determination to resist Victor's torture evident on her face. Victor's eyes narrowed, his hand rising again, ready to strike.

This time, Victor's fist connected with Ava's jaw, the impact sending her head snapping back. Ava's eyes widened in agony, her face contorting in pain.

"Don't hit me!" Ava begged, her voice shaking with fear. "I didn't do anything!"

Tears streamed down her face as Victor's fist struck her again, this time in the stomach. Ava doubled over, her body wracked with sobs.

Victor's eyes blazed with fury, his face twisted in a snarl. He raised his fist again, ready to strike.

Ava's body went limp, her head lolling to the side as she lost consciousness. Victor's eyes widened in anger, his face purpling with rage.

He slammed his fist onto the armrest, making the chair creak in protest. "No!" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the room.

Victor stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him. He paced down the hallway, his anger still simmering. He needed someone to calm him down, to soothe his frayed nerves.

He stopped in front of a door, took a deep breath, and pushed it open. Aurora looked up from her book, her eyes widening slightly as she took in Victor's thunderous expression.

Without a word, Victor strode over to her, his eyes burning with intensity. He wrapped his arms around her, pulling her into a bone-crushing hug.

Aurora's book fell to the floor as she was enveloped in Victor's embrace. She wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly as he buried his face in her neck.

Aurora held Victor tightly, her hands stroking his back as she whispered soothing words into his ear. "Shh, Victor. It's okay. I'm here for you."

Victor's grip on her tightened, his face still buried in her neck. Aurora's touch seemed to calm him, his ragged breathing slowing as she held him.

As Victor's tension eased, his lips began to move, peppering Aurora's skin with gentle kisses. His hands roamed over her back, pulling her closer as his kisses grew more insistent.

Aurora's eyes fluttered closed, her own passion igniting as Victor's lips claimed hers. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in their own private universe of touch and sensation.

Victor pulled away, his eyes burning with affection as he gazed at Aurora. But his expression soon turned stern, his brow furrowing in concern.

"Aurora, what are you doing awake?" he asked, his voice soft but scolding. "I told you I'd be late. You should be resting."

Aurora's cheeks flushed, her eyes dropping in sheepishness. "I couldn't sleep," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was worried about you."

Victor's expression softened, his eyes filling with warmth. He reached out, his fingers brushing against her cheek.

"You don't need to worry about me," he whispered. "I can take care of myself. But I appreciate your concern."
