And that's what made Victor to try to take control over his behaviour. Then he promised that he will become the man she wants. Aurora was willing to help him so they got back together.

..Few months later..

"I'm home" Aurora let out a tired sigh as she collapsed into the couch. Margarated came up with a glass of water and forward it towards her.

"Thank you so much I really needed that" Aurora said after gulping down the water down her throat. "You look tired" Margaret commented seeing her exhausted face.

"Yes! I'm recovering all the loss so I need to study extra hours. Internships are starting from the next semester. So I better clear all my basics" Aurora said while stretching out a bit.

"I will serve the lunch you can go and freshen up dear" Margaret suggested. Aurora agreed to her and stood up from the couch before walking towards their room.

The tender is near so every company is working their ass off to get that so do Romano Enterprises so Victor was extremely busy these days. They both only get to see each other at late night because he went early to his company.

Aurora is also busy with her studies. She has lost a lot of syllabus these days due to all these chaos.

After eating lunch Aurora went inside the room to get a nap before she started studying again.

Daily routine.

7:52 PM

“He said he’ll be home by 9,” Aurora said, placing the final spoon on the table.

Margaret peeked from the kitchen. “That’s good. Should I keep the food warm till then?”

Aurora nodded. “Yes. I’ll wait for him.”
Margaret glanced at her, a little concerned. “You could eat now, dear. I’ll keep his plate ready.”

“I want to eat with him,” Aurora said simply, taking a seat at the table.

9:07 PM

The clock ticked louder than usual. The food had gone a little cold, so Aurora stood and walked back to the kitchen, switching on the stove.

Margaret entered quietly. “Still nothing?”

Aurora shook her head, stirring the curry. “Probably caught up. He must be drowning in meetings.”

Margaret sighed softly. “At least eat something, dear. You’ve had a long day too.”

Aurora smiled faintly. “I’m okay. I’ll eat when he comes.”

10:21 PM

The food had cooled again. Aurora reheated everything once more, this time slower. The scent filled the quiet dining area.
