"T-trouble" she tripped over her words as his face was just inches away from her but the curiosity was building inside her little brain.
Victor chuckled watching her stuttering as he can see his affect now.
Aurora's eyes widened, her mind racing with questions. "W-what do you mean?" she stuttered, her face inches from Victor's.
Victor's chuckle sent shivers down her spine. "Your carelessness can be... destructive for you," he said, his eyes locked on hers.
Aurora's curiosity was at peek. She felt like he was hiding something, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it.
Victor's gaze seemed to bore into her soul, as if he could see her thoughts. He leaned in closer, his voice taking on a gentle tone. "But dont worry you will learn soon." He said and caressed her hair as she scooted away from him making a muscle to ticked in his jaw but he didnt lash his anger out on her.
Aurora's heart skipped a beat. She felt a flutter in her chest, as if she was teetering on the edge of something unknown.
Victor's words hung in the air, unfinished. He seemed to be holding back, restraining himself from saying something more.
Aurora's eyes searched his face, trying to understand what he meant. But Victor's expression was enigmatic, hard giving nothing away.
"Please s-sit there and m-make yourself comfortable" she said trying not to sound nervous but failed miserably.
Victor's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled, his gaze never leaving Aurora's face. "Thank you," he said, his deep voice smooth as silk.
He sat down on the couch, his movements fluid and graceful. Aurora couldn't help but notice the way he seemed to command the space around him, his presence both captivating and intimidating.
As he settled into the couch, Victor's eyes never left hers, his gaze piercing. Aurora felt like he could see right through her, like he knew all her secrets and she felt like she is bare infront of his intimidating eyes.
She tried to look away trying to make any excuse to go away but her eyes seemed rooted to his face. Her heart raced, her palms growing sweaty.
"Relax," Victor said, his voice low and soothing. "I'm not going to bite... hard."
Aurora's eyes widened at the hint of mischief in his voice. She felt a shiver run down her spine as she wondered what he meant by that.
Before Aurora could process he chuckled again and said. "You believed my words? Oh Aurora it was just a joke dont worry about it" he said in his husky voice and innocently she felt relaxed.
Aurora's tension melted away at Victor's words, replaced by a warm feeling of relief. She laughed nervously, feeling a bit silly for overreacting.
"Oh, um, yeah... I guess I did believe you," she said, her cheeks flushing slightly.
Victor's chuckle grew louder, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I just like to have a little fun sometimes."
Aurora smiled, feeling more at ease. "It's okay, I g-guess I'm just a bit... wierd."
Victor's expression softened, his gaze gentle. "You are not wierd Aurora you are a precious gem" my gem.
The words danced at the tip of his tounge but he restrained himself for letting them to spit out.
Aurora's heart skipped a beat at his words, her mind racing with contradictions. Part of her wanted to trust him, but another part was screaming warnings.
